Naomi

I’d slept from nearly as soon as Karl had left the West territory, we were officially in the north. My whole body sank into the seat relaxing as soon as we crossed that border, I didn’t have another thought as my body put me to sleep. Safety really makes a girl sleepy it seems.

Karl touched my shoulder gently, I had been waking up but the contact still made me jump. I sat up slowly and opened my eyes, we were going along a small dirt road. There were big gates ahead of us laying open.

“We haven’t needed to close them since I became beta” Karl said proudly.

I dramatically looked up at the sky and said. “Moon mother I swear if you’ve sent some egomaniac with a savour complex to rescue me imma be pissed!” I wagged my finger to the sky for emphasis.

Karl’s laughter was more of a cackle than a laugh.

“HaHa very funny.” The dry sarcasm dripped from his voice but his smirk and dimples told me he was enjoying the exchange.

“Is this what its like to have friends” I asked him. He regained his cheery exposure quickly and with a shrug he said.

“Dunno, I’ll let you know when I find some.” I was smirking back at him now.

“HaHa to you.” I replied and then the norths pack house came into view and my mouth hung open in shock. Karl’s finger closed my jaw gently and I could hear him laughing again but my eyes were glued to the house, mansion, maybe estate? Is the better word. The stone itself was beautiful as it wrapped around the sides of the mansion. The brick work alone a masterpiece. There was flowers hanging and weaving all along the wooden porch. The wood gleaned in the early sunshine. Like it was proud to be displayed so beautifully. The windows had vines growing up and around them. Just starting to flower in the spring sun.

I mean this pack had money! MONEEEEEYYYYY....

“You guys are rich rich then.” It wasn’t a question and Karl didn’t bother to answer it.

“I’ll shut that fly trap for you there.” My mind was already light-years ahead as a man stepped onto the front steps and my soul skipped a beat.

Karl

I knew my best friend and alpha like the back of my hand. As soon as he stepped out onto the concrete front porch just under the wooden awning I knew he had felt it to. Naomi’s eyes had flashed gold and I caught the mirror flash in Alecs. But he didn’t move from the porch. I had wondered if Naomi would be one of our mates, that maybe if she is from the lost Alphas bloodline she would probably be Alecs mate rather than a lesser pack members. It looked like I was right, but my Alpha did not seem happy about it.

Naomi wasn’t conventionally wolf like, she had curves upon curves in all the right places. But she didn’t look or behave like a wolf. She was small but not short, like she withdrew herself into the smallest possible size so she could disappear. Given where I found her thats no surprise. Her hair was long and black, but not like the she wolves in the packs. It was uneven and straggly. I thought I’d seen some twigs in there somewhere to. She was so pale, you could mistake her for a vamp and no one would be mad that you had. Malnourished definitely. But she had an inner beauty that I had seen in very brief glimpse when she had laughed unexpectedly. It was under layers and layers of pain but it was there. Anyone who can live with what they had done to her year after year was packing some serious resilience.

Naomi didn’t portray strength though and I knew Alec, he had already calculated in his head the risk to having a weak link directly attached to him and all the ways Naomi could be used to blackmail him or hurt both of them.

I knew the exact second he decided to not accept her and my heart broke for her.

What the fuck am I meant to do now?

I’ve just promised Naomi that no one will ever hurt her again and now we’re metres away from the most painful event a wolf can go thro.

Their mate rejecting them.

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    Challenge in his gaze

Naomi When everyone was well fed and the alcohol had been flowing freely the music changed into a more Latin dance vibe. The women started swaying their hips and the men started spinning them around. Alec came back from the rest room and held out his hand for me.“Want to go for a spin?” he asked me wagging his eyebrows. “I’ve seen your moves on the balance beam so don’t even try to say you can’t.” He challenged my denial without me even breathing a word yet. I put my hand in his and let him pull me up and lead me to the dance floor. He had the lead all I really had to do was follow. Alec would spin me out then snap me back into him for a sensual two step where our bodies were one. I could feel everything hard edge of his muscles and one area in particular was getting bigger with every grind that he inflicted on us. He spun me so my back was to his front and pulled the loose hair away from my neck so he could run his tongue along the curve of my shoulder and neck. Within five

Alec I was suited and booted waiting not so patiently for Nay to let me know she was ready. I’d heard Becca go into there about an hour ago, Nay had needed reinforcements for the dress apparently. I was pacing along my balcony when I heard my door close, so I headed towards the glass doors and that’s when I saw her. Nays hair was pulled up into an elaborate updo that left little curls framing her face. Her eyes were deep pools against the green of the dress. She looked absolutely stunning. The drop shoulder straps were laying half way down her arms and the v neck of her dress made her ample curves look good enough to eat and I was starving for her. “Nay, you look beautiful.” I said as I walked in took her hand and swirled her around. Bringing her in to a little two step sway in the middle of our room. It took her a minute to actually look around. She clocked through the open door the double sinks and even bigger double bath I had installed. The other side of the room through a s

NaomiAs the elevator dinged and the doors opened I felt slightly sick with nerves. I’ve never cared about what a man actually thinks about me. Its a polar opposite of all my previous interactions with men. What if he thinks I’m no good. What if I kiss weird? Or my breath smells. We stepped out and Alec swung me to face him, his hands on my arms and his face was filled with concern. “What’s going on Nay?” His use of a nic name for me gave me butterflies and made me relax a bit. “This is all really new to me, I.” I paused trying to find the right words. He didn’t push just stood there whilst I worked through my feelings. “I care about what you think of me. I have nothing positive to go on, I’ve never even kissed anyone before and if I thought they were going to....well it wasn’t a pleasant experience even if they never went through with it.” I deflated after getting it of my chest. Alec was really good at just letting me work stuff out by myself, he patiently waited and helped

Naomi I had gone back to my room after our late breakfast with my pack. It was still surreal thinking I had a pack and they were nice to me. It was going to get some getting used to. I knew Alec wanted me to go up with him and he was a little put out when I said no. But we had a very busy evening ahead of us where the east packs Alpha and entourage were arriving here to. If we could make it three packs against one then the West had no where to hide and they couldn’t request sanctuary in the East. There was so much legal red tape we had to jump through, rituals had to be done by me in the south. They obviously wanted me home, but I really liked it here. Now through in Luke and his muscles, what was I going to do. I honestly had no idea, but I had to work out what I was going to do and quickly or there will be blood drawn. My very human head is telling me that Luke is the safest bet to protecting me from hurt. But what if he likes the idea of me rather than the real me. If I went to t

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    Regret

AlecI wanted the ground to open and swallow this wolf whole. Stood on my front porch making a move for my mate. Pain suffering blood and entails were in this wolves future if I had anything to do with it. I had to root my feet to the ground so I didn’t immediately knock his head off. My hands had started to partially shift and my wolf was already drawing power from our pack. I had to stop both instantly before Naomi noticed. I clenched my jaw and I didn’t move. That had not been easy for me or my wolf. Especially my wolf who was already mated to Naomi’s wolf in all ways apart from the human ceremony, which wasn’t necessary in his mind. He growled and offered our sister a slow and painful death to if he had his way. I couldn’t argue with him on that one after her mocking. Naomi would hate us if we did anything other than respect and offer hospitality to her pack. Naomi was a Luna In her own right and she did not need us now. Naomi could easily go to the south and allow Luke to fight

  • The Lost Alphas Daughter    Betrothed

NaomiWe all stood as a group at the front of the house where Alec had been stood the first time I saw him. Becca and Karl to my right and Alec was to my left. He held his hand on the small of my back, slightly possessive but I was allowing it for now seeing as he had a group of unknown wolves who were mostly men if not all men and they were loyal to me. If I asked them they would carry me out if here in 0.2 seconds Alec be dammed. I saw the first black Jeep coming down the road and that was followed by five more. I could feel the metres separating us diminish in my mind through our bonds. They came to a stop on after another and as one they got out. Some smiled widely at me and some glared at Alec especially his arm. The first four who came out the first jeep stood at the bottom of the steps and they placed their right hand in a fist over their hearts and bowed their heads. I was about to say something in greeting but Alec squeezed my back gently letting me know to allow them to
