Chapter 1
"Wake up, Michelle!" Micha's voice echoed through my sleep. I frowned, pulling the blanket over my head. "Just give me a few minutes, Micha." "We don't have time," he said in a frustrated tone, shaking my shoulder. With a groan, I finally opened my eyes. Warm sunlight streamed through the curtains, painting the room in a golden glow. My feet dangled over the side of the bed as I let out a deep sigh. The sound of birds chirping outside filled the quiet morning air but something in Micha's voice told me today wouldn't be an ordinary day. "Today is a very important day you can't keep sleeping," Micha said. I wasn't fully awake yet. "What's happening today?" I asked in a groggy voice. Micha sighed in frustration. "Everybody in the pack knows what today is. Today's the day Levi is going to mark Clara." "Oh, you mean Alpha Levi?" "Yes, Levi. He's going to mark Clara today as his mate." "Was it confirmed that she's his mate, or is it just because they're dating? Is that why he wants to mark her?" I asked, annoyance clear in my tone. Truth be told, I wasn't happy about it at all. I didn't like Clara one bit. God knows the only reason she doesn't bully me is because my elder brother, Micha, is the Alpha's best friend. If not, I'd probably be everyone's punching bag. Why? Because I'm a freaking omega a very weak one. Not just that our parents died when rogues attacked our pack. That was also when the current Alpha lost his parents. It was devastating. If not for my caring brother, I'd probably be a maid by now, with no one to help or support me. "Stop spacing out," Micha said in annoyance. "Your best friend is downstairs waiting for you. Be quick get ready and don't keep Kate waiting." After I finished getting ready, I climbed down the stairs and saw Kate my best friend and the only one, apart from my brother, who supports me. She had her hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a plain white shirt and blue jeans, with brown sandals gracing her beautiful feet. "Hey, sorry I'm late," I said. "It's fine. We have to go now," she replied. "Um… go where?" I asked, confused. "Hey, have you forgotten so soon? We have to go to the pack house to help with the Alpha's birthday preparations. Almost every lady and woman will be there it's our pack's tradition." "Oh, I see… I didn't remember," I said honestly. Truthfully, I forget a lot of things. Tradition or not, I wasn't happy about going. It hurt knowing I was helping my crush plan his marking ceremony with another woman. I've liked Levi since I was a kid. To think I'll be there when he marks his mate… the thought alone makes me sick. "Let's go. What are you thinking about again? Always spacing out," Kate said, shaking her head. We got to the pack house, and everywhere smelled of roses. Everyone was busy with the decorations and arrangements. The moment Kate and I arrived, we weren't even given a chance to rest we started working immediately, running errands here and there. I was tired already, but that wasn't the worst part. My mood completely soured when Clara came to inspect the preparations. "What's wrong with this girl?" Kate whispered under her breath. Clara must have heard her because of her sharp senses. She turned to us with an expression that mixed anger and pride I couldn't tell which. The way she looked at us, it was as if she had found her prey… someone she could hunt and hurt. Kate stared back, her eyes daring Clara to try anything. Of course, Clara wouldn't dare annoy Kate. My best friend wasn't only strong; her parents were still alive, and her mate, Zaki my brother's friend was also close to the Alpha. Clara wouldn't want to offend someone like that. But I was wrong. She didn't go after Kate she targeted me. I didn't even know what I had done. I was only doing what I was told. I didn't cross any lines. Clara swayed her hips elegantly as she walked toward us, full of arrogance, as if she were already the Luna of the Red Moon Pack. I looked at her in open disdain I didn't bother to hide it. She glared at me, expecting me to cower like the other omegas. Hell no. Why would I act like a slave to an idiot like her? If only she knew how much I despised her. Not because she's dating the guy I love, but because she's too cruel to be our Luna. How many omegas and maids has she killed just because she was in a "bad mood"? She's too cruel, too power-hungry and if you ask me, she's not fit to be Luna of this pack. But our Alpha seems blinded by love. If he were in love with a good woman, I'd be happy for him. But Clara? What a joke. "Why are you staring at me like that?" Clara hissed. "Do you want me to pluck your eyes out for you?" Before I could say anything, Kate stepped in. "You wouldn't dare," she said, fuming. "Mess with her, and you'll face my wrath, vixen." Whoa. Kate really had guts. I wasn't surprised, though she's always been feisty. That's how my dear Kate has protected me from bullies all my life. I'm so grateful I met her; only God knows what my life would be like without her. "How dare you call me a vixen!" Clara shouted, clearly furious. "Why can't I call you a vixen? Isn't that what you are?" Kate shot back. "You pretend to be innocent when Alpha Levi is around, but once he's gone, you're back to your arrogant, stupid self. Now, if you'll excuse us, vixen, we're busy. Unlike you, we actually have something to do." I didn't get to see Clara's expression, but I knew she couldn't be happy. AN: Thanks for joining me on this journey! Hope you're as invested in Michelle's story as I am. Please do stay tuned!Chapter 125 The Human Lands Erin's POV I dozed off with the blanket still pulled halfway over my head, my mind swirling with everything that had happened. When my eyes finally fluttered open, soft golden sunlight was peeking through the heavy curtains, casting a warm glow across the luxurious room. My body felt relaxed in a way I hadn’t experienced in weeks — heavy, content, and completely at peace. A low, contented rumble vibrated against my back. Levi’s strong arm was wrapped tightly around my waist, his bare chest pressed flush against me. His breath was warm on the nape of my neck, tickling the strands of my still-damp hair. I couldn’t help but smile. The big, scary Alpha who commanded respect from entire packs was cuddling me like I was something fragile and precious. I traced my fingers lightly along his forearm, feeling the solid muscle beneath my touch. Who would have thought we’d get a moment like this after all the chaos? “Stop staring at me like I might vanish,” Levi
Chapter 124The Human LandsErin's POVRoosevelt stalked closer, his terrifying aura pressing down on us like a storm about to break. Arin’s voice trembled slightly as she asked, “What’s wrong, Roose?” He answered in a deceptively sweet tone, “Nothing to worry about, love.” A chill raced down my spine. Roosevelt had truly changed — and not for the better. He was nearly upon us when Raphael summoned a portal with urgent speed. We dove through without hesitation. Stepping out on the other side, Mars exhaled sharply. “Whew… that was too close.” King Johnson nodded grimly. “Far too close.” We emerged in front of a breathtaking hotel that looked like it belonged in another world. Towering spires of white marble and gleaming glass rose toward the sky, wrapped in cascading gardens of exotic flowers that glowed softly under golden lights. Crystal chandeliers shimmered through massive arched windows, its waters reflecting the elegant glow of lanterns. The air carried hints of jas
Chapter 123The Vampire RealmErin's POVKing Johnson folded his arms across his chest, his sharp gaze fixed on Raphael."If you truly know where Roosevelt is," he said firmly, "then take us there."Raphael inclined his head with calm confidence."As you wish."A tense silence settled over us before Aunt Mona finally spoke."Before we leave, how exactly do we get the Dark Blade from Raphael?"Queen Selene answered without hesitation."By speaking to it."Everyone stared at her.Levi rubbed his chin thoughtfully before saying,"I think our priority should be finding Roosevelt first. Once we know exactly where he's staying and what we're dealing with, then we can worry about the Dark Blade."Raphael nodded."A wise decision. I shall create a portal that will lead us close to his location."I narrowed my eyes at him."I'm assuming you're not taking your dragon with us."A small laugh escaped him."I can't. Not because he wouldn't enjoy the trip... but because humans tend to panic when th
Chapter 122 The Vampire Realm Erin's POV The moment we stepped out of the portal, I heard the deafening screech of Raphael's dragon echo across the Vampire Realm. The sound alone made the skies tremble. Cold winds swept across the kingdom as Glacier descended from the clouds. His enormous icy wings spread wide, casting a massive shadow over the royal palace before he landed with a thunderous crash. Frost immediately spread across the ground beneath his feet. The already cold Vampire Realm somehow became even colder. Snowflakes slowly drifted through the air, something that rarely happened here. I looked around and I realized that. Everyone was already gathered. King Johnson stood at the front with Queen Selene beside him. Levi was there, along with Clara, Mars, Michael and several royal guards who looked completely stunned by Raphael's sudden arrival. No one expected the Demon king, brother himself to appear in the Vampire Realm. Especially not riding one of the strongest
Chapter 121 The Demon Realm Erin's POV Immediately we stepped out of the portal, a wave of cold air greeted us. The sky above the Demon Realm was dark crimson, with thick clouds swirling like they were alive. Jagged black mountains stretched into the distance while rivers of glowing lava snaked across the barren land. It was beautiful in a terrifying way. Raphael's red eyes immediately scanned Aunt Mona and me as he descended gracefully from his dragon. "And what do we have here?" Raphael said in his usual calm, chilly voice. Aunt Mona didn't even hesitate. She went straight to the point. "We are here to take the Dark Blade. We need it to defeat Roosevelt." Raphael slowly walked toward us, his heavy boots echoing against the rocky ground. "If you are here to destroy him, then you need not be scared, for we are allies." Aunt Mona frowned. "And why should I trust you?" A small chuckle escaped his lips. "Because I want Roosevelt gone just the same way you do." I carefully w
Chapter 120The Vampire RealmMichael asked King Johnson,"What do we do now? Does Queen Selene know?"King Johnson replied,"Yes, Queen Selene knows."A heavy silence settled over everyone. No one spoke for a few seconds. The weight of Roosevelt's growing power pressed against their hearts like an invisible mountain.Mona finally broke the silence."I suggest you find other ways to defeat him, but that doesn't mean Arin won't be helpful."Erin frowned."What do you mean, Aunt Mona?"Mona smiled calmly."Don't forget Arin is your sister, meaning we can still win her back. But only if she has any memory of her past."Her hopeful words caused everyone to exchange glances.Mona turned to King Johnson."Does Arin have any memories of the past?"King Johnson's brows pulled together."I don't really know."He sighed softly before continuing."Levi just told me that Arin has been found, and she's with Roosevelt according to Levi, the Living book informed him."Michael looked around the room.
Chapter 86The Werewolf RealmLevi’s POVWhen we reached where Michael was being treated, it was worse than I expected. He was in agony. The arm he’d lost wasn’t regenerating. It was rotting — the remaining flesh boiling like water.Erin’s power did nothing. Panic edged into her voice. That’s when
