The dead silence confirmed my theory. Damien was standing near his desk with his back facing me. I held my breath as I waited for him to say anything, without moving from the couch, "It is true," I whispered but the words were not meant for himThe words were meant for me to realize the reality, how my life had turned upside down. "Get out," he said in a slow tone that caused me to shiver.I stood up from my position but did not leave the room instead I tried to poke the wolf, "Damien...""I said GET OUT!" he growled.Startled by the loud voice I ran outside without blinking.

I wiped my hands on the jeans as I looked at the intimidating building in front of my eyes. I thought Damien's mansion was big but the palace was making it look ordinary. So many symmetrically arranged large dark windows on the tall grey walls of stones were staring at me making me feel minuscule.
