 The banquet hall in the dorm was decorated with open flames inserted into hurricane-type glass holders placed on the pillars of the hall draped with cream-colored curtains with wine-red fabric on top, a 3-tiered chandelier in a daisy-shaped with pendant lights that were in brass and bronze, the carpeted floor also inserted such elegance in the room. Blanche open the double doors and was welcomed by elegant people drinking champagne in a wine glass, in suits and sparkly gowns as they talked to each other in groups. She's intimidated to step up and joined them. Did she enter the right room? Yes, she's sure that this was the place, everybody, frequent when there's an event or announcement like when Blanche was promoted as specials and challenged her luck to them. And ended up losing.Blanche could still smell the blood of Astolfo lingering, dancing in her nose, seeping on her fingernails, staining the palm of her hands. 

"My, my, my favorite child is here." A woman dressed in a black gown stepped out from the crowd and touched Blanche's left cheek with an acrylic manicure. It was in the shade of red same with her lips, she's the only one wearing such seductive and bold design, her smell of some red roses that bloom together in a field on the night masqueraded the whole winter and Blanche held her breath when her cold touch brush her cheeks. It's the touch that can bring tears to your eyes. It's the kind of touch that once you feel even the tip of her long fingernails, it can graze your skin with sins of what you did in the past. It can make you realize that what you're doing for so long, and what you're trying to cling to live was all wrong. And that, the only thing you can do was freeze at your place because even if you open your mouth and tears cascaded on your cheeks, no words would come, it's like she held your throat all of a sudden and she'll dive on your inside

 -Misha ran to Blanche after she opened the door. "Where the hell did you go?" Blanche walked passed her, ignoring her question and removing her boots. She was supposed to walk straight to her room, but then she noticed the black invitation on the center table. "I know where did you go, in hell right?" Misha who turned up to her side smiled from ear to ear, her eyes forming a line. Blanche snorted. "That doesn't fit you," she said and sat on the couch in front of the invitation. Misha snickered, rolled her eyes, crossed her arms, and also sat on the couch. "I talked with the devil," Blanche started, she straightened her back and look at the invitation that has dents and was slightly crumpled on its lead. Misha licked her lips.  Blanche's leg was getting tired, she sat on her left leg for a comfortable sitting, and it's just perfect because of her black maxi dress, it seemed like her foot was nowhere in sight under her skirt. "Wait, are you telling me that you're planning to infiltrate your organization?" Slidell said as if her explanation wasn't clear to him. "Your organization?" he repeated, with a mocking tone. Blanche gave a nod. "Why? Are you belittling me? Don't you think I can't do that?" Blanche couldn't say it to Misha, because they're not on speaking terms, Astolfo died, Penelope slapped her, Ainé's a bad girl, Farah's mad, Ace hasn't shown up to her, she could only come to Slidell. "Wait, don't you think this is too much for me? You're talking about an agent right? You're a spy." Blanche gave him a look. "Yes." Slidell exhaled an exasperated sigh. "See? I'm just a normal city boy

 "What do I need to do to be in your team?" Blanche shrugged. "It's not really a team, I'm  recruiting you first, I haven't asked the others." Blanche has a plan in her mind, though it’s better to term it as a shaky plan.
