The rest of the party went smoothly. Liam and Ayla vanished shortly after Liam returned to the party. I was happy for them. It was a little chilly when we got back to Jackson’s room. I wasted no time crawling under his thick dark blankets and cuddling up next to his warm body. I felt instantly comforted when he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. Jackson kissed my forehead, causing me to look up at him. He looked a little nervous, so I kissed his nose and smiled when he did. “I didn’t know I was a royal Lycan.” He said, keeping his gaze on me. He signed but I continued to listen to him. I followed Liam and Ayla to the pack hospital. It wasn’t very big, but since werewolves healed quickly, the hospitals didn’t get much use, except if you had a witch doctor like Lunaflare pack did.Once we were inside, Abby led us to a back room where the morgue was. There were two rows of three beds all held bodies covered with sheets. “As I said before, Luna, I’ve checked over the bodies and found no marks of nesting.” She said, Her voice was friendly and welcoming. I tilted my head to the side, then looked back over at her. “It makes no sense. Rogue vampires don’t behave in this manner. I pulled the sheet back on the first vampire and Abby handed me a small flashlight. Ayla gagged a little and stepped out of the room.
