The whole kingdom was in a state of pure chaos. For the first time in what had to be hundreds of years, the Adom army had crossed the borders of the Lavan Kingdom. The Adom King's general himself was leading the forces, thus showing how serious the situation was. There had been no attack yet, but the threat was real and a messenger had been sent.The Lavan Kingdom and Adom Kingdom had never been allies, with the sole exception of the time every kingdoms of the land had worked together to seal the Shachor Kingdom hundreds of years ago. Lavan people were pacifists by nature, their healing powers and gift of empathy forcing them to be altruist, while Adom people where known for their violence, the fire burning inside their veins and their superior strength explaining their love for battles.The Lavan kingdom wouldn't win if a war exploded between them, and so a council had urgently been ordered to prevent any blood from being shed."What's the situation?" "Stay close to me, princess." Emet told Azalia as they entered the imposing castle of the Adom Kingdom.They had finally arrived at their destination. It had been a five-day trip by horse, during which they had stopped in different towns each night to sleep. Azalia was grateful for this, since she didn't particularly fancy sleeping under the stars, especially not when surrounded by thousands of enemy soldiers. The inns they stopped in definitely weren't luxurious, but they at least gave her some privacy and comfort.Azalia had kept dreaming more and more about the same man the closer they got to the Adom castle. She always saw the same crimson eyes and dark hair and tanned skin, her visions getting a little clearer each time she had the same dream.She could now see that she was lying on a bed with the man of her visions, dark silky sheets covering both of their naked bodies. They were pressed together, the man's arms protectively wrapped around her waist as he brushed his lips agains

The next morning, Azalia woke up alone in her immense quarters.Even if the large bed she was on had to be the most comfortable bed she had ever tried, the Lavan princess hadn't particularly slept well. How could she possibly, with everything going on?All night long, she had kept remembering what had happened yesterday in the King's quarters. She couldn't get Melech's ruby eyes out of her mind. Nor the way they had looked right into her soul, nor how it had made her breathing stop and her heart race inside her chest.It also didn't help that the rare times she managed to fall asleep, the same red eyes were filling her dreams. Her vision was still the same as before, with her and Melech lying on a bed together, black silky sheets covering their naked bodies.However, what made it different than usual was that Azalia now knew the man of her visions. She had seen Melech with her very own eyes yesterday and that certainly changed everything. It was as if she had finally realised that her

"I have to say, your personal guard truly is handsome." Shai said as she combed Azalia's long white hair, a dreamy sigh escaping her lips at the thought of the knight.As every morning, she and Temira were taking care of Azalia, helping her to bath and to get dressed. It was easier with Melech currently being too busy to see her, thus allowing her to relax, even if only a little. She was still in enemy's territory, after all. It allowed her to feel his emotions and, for what had to be the first time, Azalia didn't feel Melech's usual anger, wrath and chaos. Instead of these negative emotions, she could feel contentment, want and interest coming from him. Azalia didn't know what she preferred, because the way Melech was looking at her right now, crimson eyes boring into her soul, seemed to be even more dangerous. "I only take milk baths." She said, hoping it would make him drop the matter. "Do you really?" But it only amused him, one of his eyebrows going up at the thought of doing something as ridiculous as taking milk baths. "Yes.
