HILDA’S POVI had decided to take the day off.No meetings, no calls, no emails. Just me and a much needed maintenance day. I was lying on my bed staring at the ceiling, trying to ignore the dull ache in my lower abdomen, but it kept getting worse. And then suddenly, it stole my breath. I doubled over hugging my stomach. But not the way he had looked at me, like I was an evil witch, like I had suddenly become someone entirely different.
