Rain POVI am awoken by the ringing of my phone. I let out a sigh and try to untangle Rex from around me. Once I am successful in getting myself from his grasp I lean over and grab my phone that is on the bedside table. I gasp when I see who it is and answer the call knowing that the reason for this is an exciting one.“Its time” That is all I need to hear, before I am pushing Rex to get up and ready to go out the door. I am jumping on the inside excited that my best friend is finally giving birth to my niece or nephew. They didn't want to know the gender because all they cared about was whether the baby was going to come out healthy, and that's all any one of us could ask for.
