 Chapter 34 Calvin “I can smell the richness of the spicy drumsticks that I would have here.” Derek announced as we got out of the car. I arched my brows to take a look at the place. I was wondering why he didn’t ask me where I would like to eat. Turns out he was all about himself. One of the ladies he admires works as the head chef in the restaurant and he only gets to see her once in a while during times like this. Since he has numerous women to attend to in each day of the week. “Are you always this shameless?” I questioned. He wiggled his shoulder, grinning from ear to ear. “Life is meant to be lived once. And believe me, these ladies need a dose of me in their lives. Life is already too stressful as it stands, don’t you think?” I scrunched my nose, “your word stinks.” 

Calvin My body feels sore and drained. Had to have chicken broth to be made for me to regain my strength. I didn’t realize just how deadly the spicy drumsticks and rum were to my body. Clara My eyes felt tired as I opened them. the morning sun wasn’t making it easy either, it burned my face making me wince and shielding it with the bed cover. For the past few days, I haven’t felt good. My body is feels heavy and sore. Sometimes I get too restless to sleep and when the sleep eventually comes, it gets so deep that I wake up hungry. Taking a deep breath, I stood up groggily, dragging myself to the bathroom. As soon as the cold water touched my body, everything seemed better. Stepping out of the room, I caught a glimpse of Calvin making his way towards the end of the hallway. Stunned by his sudden appearance, I stormed back into the room, my back resting against the door with my heart racing like crazy. As much as I told myself that I wouldn’t let anyone bully me into submission. I couldn’t resist the need to stick to calvin’s warning of me staying out of his way. I thought it would be easy for me
