Chapter 16Ariella's POVMy eyes fluttered open slowly to adjust to the brightness of the room. When did I fall asleep? All I remember is talking with Lucien later into the night.What am I resting my head on? This doesn't feel like the clothes I stack up to rest my head on. Chapter 20Ariella's POV Today is Friday and it also happens to be the day of the presentation. I sat at my desk, watching with envy as people went up in front of the class to present.I have been so tense since I got to the academy. I kept staring at the little I managed to write down from Lucien's explanation of love.I didn't understand his either but it was better than missing out on all the marks.
