Kielan didn't wake until later in the day. Worried, I had called Dr Lovely to check on him, and she stated, it had to do with his declining health. If nothing is done towards finding a cure for him, he would keep having longer day sleeps and less rest at night. Luckily, the vaccine arrived hours before the scheduled time. I held Kielan's hand as they rolled his bed into the emergency room. “You'll be okay,” I reassured him with a smile, squeezing his hand. “Trust me.”He nodded and forced a smile. He looked as if he wanted to say something, but he couldn't get any words out. He had been weak since he woke up, and hadn't even said a word to me. “I'll be waiting for you. Don't you dare die on me.”He nodded weakly again. “Don't worry, I'll take care of him.” Smiling, Dr Lovely patted my hand. “It's time to let go, Lylah. He'll be okay.”“Promise?”She didn't respond immediately. She closed her eyes, drew in a deep breath before she nodded. “Promise.”“I'll hold you to that.” I smile
