The jump from the balcony was steep and scary, but I did not hesitate. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes and leapt into the darkness. Landing badly, I winced when I tried to stand, then gritted my teeth and raced for the tree line. I knew the club Doctor was going to sedate me.Through my shock and fear, I heard them talking, and the Doctor told him off for putting me through what he had.
