The spring holidays began with radiant sunshine and a large Anticipation in the Voss House. Emilia came home for two whole weeks. As her train everyone waiting at the station – a colourful reception committee with self-painted shields and balloons. Emilia got out and was immediately attacked by her siblings. Luna clipped her leg, Sophia and Aurora jumped around her, Lucas briefly lifted her up and Elias put a new picture in her hand. Alexander stood a little off, his hands in his pockets. When Emilia finally came to him, he dragged them into a long, firm hug. “Welcome home, my girl,” he said quietly, the voice full of emotion. “The house missed you.” “I also you,” Emilia whispered and pushed her face to his chest.
