(Elian’s POV) Footsteps drew closer in the detention room as they all filed in. I was barely able to make out their faces — the room was dimly lit, and my eyes were still accustomed to the dark. Jasper slid out of my hole, standing from my body. “Close the door.”Someone must have obeyed him, because the door shut, leaving the high window as the sole source of light. “If you haven’t taken it out yet, go ahead and do that now.” Jasper ordered, his voice coming from far away. Through the dim of the room, I saw the men stand around me in a circle.
