"Nooooo!" The desperate, agonizing scream tore violently from the very depths of my throat, ripping through the tense air inside the vehicle. The horrifying sight of Ella being pushed from the moving van made my entire world crash down in a single second. Time seemed to slow down into a terrible, agonizing crawl as her small body was thrown completely clear of the vehicle. I screamed, my voice cracking with pure fury as I thrashed violently against their iron grip. "I don't know who the hell you are, and I have absolutely no idea why you are standing there saying welcome back to me! A cold, fearless expression remained on her face as she leaned back against her golden chair. "Fine. You can go right ahead and pull that trigger to kill me if that is what you truly want," she murmured, her voice smooth and completely steady despite the weapon pointed at her face. "But if you do, my men will instantly blow you to pieces, and you will just end up dead right beside me. The cycle of pain will continue, and the bloodshed... it will never truly stop for you." I have never, in any way, wanted to hurt an innocent person, or do anything bad or wicked to anyone around me. I am truly sorry to say this to you, but everything coming out of your mouth right now is just a cheap fairy tale. It is nothing but pure fantasy." I didn't stop my boots from moving, keeping my back turned toward her as I marched away, but her voice grew even more frantic, chasing after me through the clean air.
