The next day, as soon as her alarm rang, Anais jumped off the bed like a possessed child. She stared at the opposite wall in a daze for a second. The cloud in her brain slowly cleared. Then she jumped up and scrambled to prepare to meet Emma.Luckily, it was a Saturday, and Emma didn't have to take a day off to meet her. They met at a cafe, discussed what they had to, by the time they where half way done, the day had come to an end.They bade each other goodbye and went home.In bed, Anais wore a smile as she recalled the day's events. It looks like she has found herself a friend. Her very first friend.Emma hummed until she was ready for bed. She had reached out to help out of compassion, but she didn't expect Anais to be such a cute person.She smiled as she recalled Anais blushing when she complimented her.She went to bed, wishing the next day would come faster. Anais didn't head straight to the conference room. She went directly to the bathroom as fast as she could. Matthew fell in step with Lucero as soon as he got out of the elevator. He began to recite today's schedule until they got to his office.
