The moment Evelyn left his room, Ethan became still. He immediately came back to his senses and ran after his mother. "Mom!" He yelled as he ran. Evelyn was just about to enter her own room when Ethan came from behind and hugged her tightly. "Mom..." He began to cry. Evelyn also began to cry. The mother and son stayed in this position for minutes and when they had finally cried out to their satisfaction, they dishugged and entered into her room. Evelyn sat her son gently on her bed, she then sat beside him. For some time, neither spoke. Evelyn didn't want to anger her son again, Ethan was scared of saying anything. After a while, Evelyn cleared her voice to talk but before she could say anything, Ethan spoke first. "Mom, I'm sorry for the way I spoke to you." Evelyn glanced at her son quietly and then nodded. "It's alright, son. I hold nothing against you." Even though his mother had forgiven him, Ethan was still not relieved. "I only want the best for you, that's all."
