A piece of advice: be wary of lists on general 'book list' websites that are just SEO content farms. They often have errors or are outdated. You can spot them because they have a ton of ads and listicles like 'Top 10 Dark Romance Novels'.
Stick to the sources that have a reputation for accuracy: official sites, library databases, and dedicated fan hubs. The extra few minutes to verify on a reputable site saves you from reading a series totally out of order.

Man, I tried this search last year. The Wikipedia page is a start, but it doesn't separate series from standalones clearly. I found a fan-made spreadsheet linked from a Reddit thread in the 'r/books' subreddit. It was gold—color-coded by series and everything.
Maybe try searching Reddit with 'Jacqui Rose order site:reddit.com'. Those deep-in-the-thread comments often have the nuggets of info you need. People in book subreddits are usually happy to share their personally vetted lists.

I'm in the 'don't stress it' camp. With contemporary crime series like hers, each book is usually a self-contained story with recurring settings or side characters. You can jump in anywhere and not be lost. The character development might be richer if you go in order, but the plot will still make sense.
Start with whichever book's blurb grabs you the most. If you fall in love with the world, then you can go back and read the earlier ones with the excitement of seeing how it all began.

I keep a database for this. Nerdy, I know. But for authors I follow closely, I use a simple spreadsheet. I started it for Jacqui Rose after buying a few books out of order. I used Fantastic Fiction for the base, then confirmed each series order by reading plot teasers.
Now I have my own definitive list that I can sort by series, publication date, or even my rating. It's a bit of upfront work, but it's forever useful and I can share it with friends.

I appreciate when authors use consistent branding for series. Like having 'A Missy Novel' or 'A Bad Girls Thriller' prominently on the cover. That visual cue makes it easy to group them together on your shelf or in a online search.
Jacqui Rose's covers seem to have this, at least for some series. You can almost sort them by the cover design style and typography. It's a non-digital way to create order from chaos. Group the ones that look like they belong together, then look up the order within that group.

A Choice Lost to Fate
Evandra Johnson is the Luna of the Pearl Pack and life is going great.... until it isn't. What she thought was a happy marriage to the love of her life, Jalen, her mate and Alpha, turns to something she doesn't recognize overnight. How did she not see the signs? He chose an Omega over her and now the pack will have a new Luna.
Now she is faced with heartbreak, pain, humiliation, and a new sense of hopelessness. She has no family to turn to, no friends outside of the Pearl Pack and nowhere to go. Staying a lone wolf means she accepts the status of a rogue. But approaching another pack's territory could cost her life.
After her mate's rejection and being banished from her pack, she must figure out her own way. Although she is a trained warrior and has a fierce wolf spirit within her, many dangers await in the forest. She is weakened by the strain of her mate's rejection, making her vulnerable and putting her at great risk.
Can she find herself before her wolf becomes a feral beast she no longer can control, or will she rise above?

Okay, but has anyone else noticed how the male characters are just... the worst? And yet so compelling? Reading in order shows the slow, tragic decay of some of them, while others get a tiny shred of redemption. It's a masterclass in writing complicated antagonists you love to hate and sometimes just... love.
The DI Alex King series is the one that follows a more traditional detective format. If you like procedurals with a dedicated detective facing personal and professional challenges, that's your line. Start with 'The Rules of the Game' and work forward. The character of King evolves across the books, and some personal storylines carry over, so order enhances the experience.
Her other series are more standalone in feel, even within their own sequence. The Brassy books, while sequential, each have a more contained central crisis.
I see them as chapters in a much larger novel. Each book has its own title and contained crisis, but the character development is cumulative. You witness births, deaths, marriages, and betrayals that permanently alter the landscape. Reading out of order would dull the impact of those major turning points.
For instance, a character's death in book five is heartbreaking because of the history built over the prior four. In isolation, it's just a plot event.
Just lurk here. Everyone's gonna say something different, and you'll see which title gets mentioned the most. That's usually a sign of a crowd-pleaser entry point. My two cents is already lost in the noise!
Okay, real talk: the covers are fantastic. Very bold, dramatic, and distinctly 'gangland thriller'. You can spot them across a bookstore. Sometimes, I judge a book by its cover, and in this case, the covers accurately promise high-stakes drama and tough characters. The series order might be complex, but at least the books look great on a shelf together. Aesthetics matter, right?
