For a purely practical take, Wikipedia often has a bibliography section that lists an author's works in chronological publication order. While it doesn't group them by series, you can see the yearly release list. Then, you can cross-reference with a fan wiki or blog that specifies the series groupings. It's a two-step process, but it gives you the definitive timeline.

Don't overthink it; she's not writing a 15-book epic fantasy where order is everything. Her series are fairly self-contained crime thrillers. The continuity within a series matters for character arcs and some recurring side characters, but you won't be lost if you read book two before book one. You'll just miss some backstory.
That said, for the fullest experience, yes, follow the order. A quick Google search for 'Jacqui Rose reading order' will bring up a few reader-made lists on blogs or forums that are super helpful and usually correct.

The DI Alex King series is the one that follows a more traditional detective format. If you like procedurals with a dedicated detective facing personal and professional challenges, that's your line. Start with 'The Rules of the Game' and work forward. The character of King evolves across the books, and some personal storylines carry over, so order enhances the experience.
Her other series are more standalone in feel, even within their own sequence. The Brassy books, while sequential, each have a more contained central crisis.

I treat series order like a gentle guideline, not a law. Life's too short. If book 3 of a series is on sale for £0.99 and has a blurb that calls to me, I'm reading it. I might miss some nuances, but a well-written thriller should stand on its own enough to hook you. If it doesn't, maybe the author isn't for me. That's my ruthless take.

The frustration with the duplicate titles is real. It feels like an unforced error that creates unnecessary confusion for readers trying to be loyal. Authors and publishers should really avoid reusing titles across series, especially for an author writing in the same broad genre. It muddies the waters for no good reason. That's my main critique of an otherwise great bibliography.

"Am I your first, little flower?" the Alpha asks me. "Well, I won't be your last." He wears a crooked grin as he gestures to the bed. I bite my bottom lip and comply because I have no choice. My father has sold me to the king, and now, I must entertain the four candidates to become the next Alpha King. I am, after all, their breeder. As he climbs onto the bed, I hold my breath. He's unbelievably sexy, but he's just the first of the men I will be getting to know better, the first of four vying for the title of Alpha King. What if I fall in love with him? What if I fall in love with all four of them?

Rose's parents insist she enter the contest to become the new Breeder because they need the money. They never thought she'd win. In fact, he may not want a new heir at all. As she finds herself falling in love with all four of the men, she realizes not only is she in danger, but so are they.

What she thought was a happy marriage to the love of her life, Jalen, her mate and Alpha, turns to something she doesn't recognize overnight. How did she not see the signs? He chose an Omega over her and now the pack will have a new Luna.

After her mate's rejection and being banished from her pack, she must figure out her own way. Although she is a trained warrior and has a fierce wolf spirit within her, many dangers await in the forest. I see them as chapters in a much larger novel. Each book has its own title and contained crisis, but the character development is cumulative. You witness births, deaths, marriages, and betrayals that permanently alter the landscape. Reading out of order would dull the impact of those major turning points.
For instance, a character's death in book five is heartbreaking because of the history built over the prior four. In isolation, it's just a plot event.
Okay, but has anyone else noticed how the male characters are just... the worst? And yet so compelling? Reading in order shows the slow, tragic decay of some of them, while others get a tiny shred of redemption. It's a masterclass in writing complicated antagonists you love to hate and sometimes just... love.
Okay, real talk: the covers are fantastic. Very bold, dramatic, and distinctly 'gangland thriller'. You can spot them across a bookstore. Sometimes, I judge a book by its cover, and in this case, the covers accurately promise high-stakes drama and tough characters. The series order might be complex, but at least the books look great on a shelf together. Aesthetics matter, right?
I keep a database for this. Nerdy, I know. But for authors I follow closely, I use a simple spreadsheet. I started it for Jacqui Rose after buying a few books out of order. I used Fantastic Fiction for the base, then confirmed each series order by reading plot teasers.
Now I have my own definitive list that I can sort by series, publication date, or even my rating. It's a bit of upfront work, but it's forever useful and I can share it with friends.
Just lurk here. Everyone's gonna say something different, and you'll see which title gets mentioned the most. That's usually a sign of a crowd-pleaser entry point. My two cents is already lost in the noise!
