Does The Online Version Of Kiss An Angel Include Bonus Chapters?

For readers who love Susan Elizabeth Phillips's books, I'm hoping for extra content in Kiss an Angel's ebook. Did they publish a special edition with more of those sweet epilogue scenes?

Nope. Read it last month. The story ends, and then you're done. I was a bit sad because I wanted more, but in hindsight, the ending was exactly right. It closes on a note of hope and new beginnings without over-explaining.

Bonus chapters can sometimes over-explain and ruin the mystery of the future. This book leaves it to your imagination, which is part of its beauty. The online version is no different.

Pretty confident the answer is no. I'm a collector, and I've never seen an edition advertised with extra content. The plot is so self-contained that bonus material would feel out of place.

What you read is what you get. And what you get is a rollercoaster of a romance with a super satisfying conclusion. I don't think it needs anything else to be a complete experience.

Hmm, I'm not sure. I think I read it, but it was a while back. My memory's fuzzy on the details. I mostly remember the circus setting being really unique.

I should probably reread it. If there are bonus chapters, I definitely missed them the first time!

Hmm, not that I've ever seen. I've read it a couple times across different platforms, and it's always been the same story. The ending wraps up pretty definitively, so I'm not sure what a bonus chapter would even cover.

Maybe you're thinking of some authors who release epilogue scenes on their websites or in newsletters? I don't recall the author doing that for this book, but my memory isn't perfect. The online discussions I've browsed never mention extra content, just lots of debate about the male lead's behavior.

Pretty sure it doesn't. I've seen this question on forums before, and the answer is always the same. The digital version is a straight conversion of the print book.

If the author ever decided to write a bonus scene, it would be big news in romance circles. I haven't heard any such news. So for now, and likely forever, the novel stands alone as originally published.

How do the online chapters of Kiss an Angel differ from the print book?

I found the web version more stressful to read because of the constant cliffhangers. Every chapter ended on a minor dramatic note to ensure you'd click 'next.' The book allows scenes to breathe and end on quieter, more natural beats. The storytelling feels less manipulative and more organic in its print form.

Does the full version include bonus chapters or content?

The full version of a book or media often includes bonus chapters or extra content, but it really depends on the publisher, author, or platform. Some editions are packed with deleted scenes, author notes, or even short stories set in the same universe—like how 'Six of Crows' had those gorgeous character backstories in the collector's edition. Other times, you might get alternate endings or concept art bundled in, especially with special releases of games or anime Blu-rays. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve double-dipped on a favorite series just for those juicy extras. That said, not every 'complete' version guarantees bonus material. Sometimes it’s just a marketing label for a repackaged standard edition. I learned that the hard way after buying what was advertised as the 'definitive' version of a visual novel, only to find it was identical to the original. Always check reviews or fan forums before committing—someone’s usually ranted or raved about whether the extras are worth it. My personal rule? If it’s from a creator known for rewarding fans, like Leigh Bardugo or the folks behind 'The Witcher 3', chances are high you’ll get something special.

Does Kiss an Angel have a free preview or trial reading?

Gutenberg or other free classic sites won't have it. It's a 1996 publication. Any site claiming to have the full PDF for free is a pirate site. Not only is it unethical, but the file quality is often poor—scanned poorly, missing pages, or riddled with ads and malware. It's just not worth the risk or the disrespect to the author. The legitimate preview systems are there for a reason. Use them and support the author if you enjoy the sample.

Can I read Kiss an Angel novel online without downloading?

Honestly, just buy the ebook. It's like five dollars. That's less than a fancy coffee. You get a permanent copy you can read on any device, online or off, and you directly support the author. Browsing shady sites for hours to avoid spending five bucks seems like a false economy when you consider your time and the risk involved. Think of it as tipping the writer for the hours of entertainment they provided. The convenience and peace of mind are worth the minimal cost.

Does Cat's Cradle Kindle version include bonus chapters?

I pulled up my copy of 'Cat's Cradle' on my Kindle app to check after I saw this thread. I can confirm my purchased Kindle edition from a major retailer does not contain any extra chapters beyond the main novel. It's the standard text, same as my old paperback. That said, I've heard whispers about different editions floating around over the years, especially with some of Vonnegut's work getting re-released with forewords or essays. Maybe a special anniversary edition down the line might bundle something extra, but for the standard ebook you'd buy today, it seems like a no. I wish it did; I'd love a bit more of that dark, satirical world.

Does the If He Had Been With Me online book include bonus chapters?

Honestly, I hope they never release official bonus chapters. The fanfiction for this book is incredible—some of the best I've read in any fandom. Writers have explored every conceivable angle: fix-its, prequels, crossovers, you name it. An official release would inevitably disappoint some fans because it would 'canonize' one vision over all the others. The ambiguity and the space left by the original text is what fuels such amazing creative output from the community.

Where can I read Kiss an Angel free online?

My go-to route for free reads is the library, and that’s true for 'Kiss an Angel' too — you can often borrow the ebook or audiobook through services like Libby/OverDrive if your public library holds it. I’ve used Libby to grab romance titles more than once; it’s simple: sign in with your library card, search for 'Kiss an Angel', and borrow if a copy is available. That’s a fully legal, no-cost way to read the whole book without paying retailers. If your library participates in Hoopla, that’s another immediate option — Hoopla can let you borrow ebooks instantly without waiting lists in many systems, and I’ve found 'Kiss an Angel' listed there in some library catalogs. If neither app shows availability for your library, retailers like Apple Books, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble will let you preview samples for free, which can tide you over until a copy becomes available to borrow. For audiobooks, services sometimes offer short free trials that include the title as part of the trial credits, though that’s a temporary option. I prefer the library routes because they keep authors supported while letting me read without paying out of pocket, and borrowing through Libby or Hoopla feels effortless once you’ve got the apps set up. Happy reading — Daisy and that grumpy circus hero make for a wild ride.

Does the King of Wrath online read include bonus or extra chapters?

5 Answers2026-07-26 15:37:11
The best bonus content I ever read for any story was a single paragraph from the author about what music they listened to while writing key scenes. It wasn't even a chapter. It was a mood setter. For a story as emotionally charged as 'King of Wrath,' I'd value that more than a fluff chapter. What was the soundtrack to the rage, the reconciliation? That's the real bonus material. The 'how' behind the story. I wonder if the author ever shared anything like that. That's what I'd go hunting for.
