Troian Bellisario plays Spencer, and she’s flawless in the role. My favorite moment? When Spencer decodes the A messages like a boss while rocking those blazers. Bellisario’s portrayal made Spencer’s breakdowns and triumphs equally compelling—I cried during her Radley arc. Fun fact: She married Patrick J. Adams (Mike from 'Suits'), and now I need a PLL-Suits crossover fanfic.
Troian Bellisario! She’s Spencer Hastings, and honestly, I can’t imagine anyone else in that role. The way she delivers those rapid-fire, sarcastic lines? Iconic. I binge-watched 'Pretty Little Liars' during a rainy weekend, and Spencer’s arc—from overachiever to someone unraveling secrets—was my favorite. Bellisario’s background (she’s the daughter of TV producers) probably helped her understand the industry, but her raw talent is undeniable. Plus, her chemistry with the cast, especially Keegan Allen as Toby, felt so genuine. Still low-key mad the show messed with their relationship so much, though!
It’s Troian Bellisario, and wow, does she own that role. Spencer’s character could’ve easily been just another ‘smart girl’ trope, but Bellisario adds so much nuance—her panic attacks, her rivalry with Melissa, even her wardrobe choices feel intentional. I rewatched the series last year and picked up on tiny details, like how her posture stiffens when she’s lying. Random trivia: Bellisario auditioned for both Spencer and Aria! Wild to think how different the show would’ve felt if she’d played Aria instead. Also, her Instagram is a gem—she posts throwback PLL stuff sometimes, and it’s pure nostalgia.
Spencer Hastings in 'Pretty Little Liars' is brought to life by the talented Troian Bellisario, and honestly, she nails the character's intense, perfectionist vibe so well. I first watched the show years ago, and Spencer's sharp wit and emotional depth always stood out to me—Bellisario made her feel like a real person, not just a TV character. What’s cool is how she subtly layers Spencer’s struggles with family pressure and identity. If you dive into interviews, Bellisario even co-wrote an episode, which adds another layer to her connection with the role.
Funny enough, I later stumbled into Bellisario’s indie film work, like 'Feed,' and it’s wild to see her range compared to Spencer’s tightly controlled energy. She’s one of those actors who makes you forget they’re acting, y’know? The way she balances Spencer’s academic drive with her messy personal life is just chef’s kiss.

Emily’s world wasn’t just broken. It was strategically dismantled.
Three years of love. One devastating betrayal. A single moment that would leave a scar forever. The day Emily caught her boyfriend Jaden and her best friend Mika tangled in bed, something inside her died.
2 years later, she has worked to be everything Jaden said she could never be— a star actress, loved by many.
As Emily climbs the treacherous ladder of the entertainment industry, her betrayers return with a sinister plan. Mika, consumed by jealousy, doesn’t just want to compete – she wants to annihilate. Even if it meant becoming an actress herself. And Jaden? He’s the perfect weapon in her arsenal.
But in the entertainment industry, Power surpasses power. And there he was, Noah.
Noah. The king of the entertainment industry. Feared by many and had the lives of many wrapped around his fingers. He met Emily 2 years ago for the first time, snot mixing with tears, her broken glasses sliding down her face- she kept screaming at him “You can’t die! Not today!”. She saved him, and he owes his life to her.
But now, she doesn’t remember him. Also she has changed. She almost looked nothing like the ugly woman he saw that night— Mascara streaking down her blotchy cheeks, glasses bent and crooked, hair disheveled, looking utterly destroyed, a walking catastrophe of raw, ugly pain, far from what he was seeing now— who is this woman?
This isn’t a love story. This is a war. And Emily? She’s the prey. Would Noah be her Prince Charming that saves her?
Rewatching 'Pretty Little Liars' always pulls me into the messy, juicy drama—and Ezra Fitz is a huge part of why I keep coming back. The actor who brings him to life is Ian Harding. He plays Ezra as a bookish, somewhat mysterious English teacher who becomes romantically entangled with Aria, and Ian gives the role a mix of awkward charm and surprising vulnerability that made that storyline feel real to fans.
I love how Ian threads subtle humor into moments that could've been melodramatic, and how his delivery changes as the character shifts from teacher to boyfriend to someone with secrets of his own. Beyond the obvious plot beats, his chemistry with the cast anchored a lot of the show’s emotional beats for me. Even now, seeing him pop up in interviews or panels reminds me why he’s one of the series’ most memorable faces—definitely one of my favorite on-screen teachers.
The characters Teddy and Spencer from 'Good Luck Charlie' are played by Bridgit Mendler and Bradley Steven Perry, respectively. Bridgit brought such a lively, relatable energy to Teddy Duncan—she was the quintessential big sister trying to balance family chaos with her own teen life. I loved how she nailed the sarcastic yet caring vibe. Bradley’s Spencer was the perfect mischievous younger brother; his comedic timing was spot-on, especially in those sibling rivalry scenes.
Rewatching the show now, it’s wild how much their chemistry felt like real siblings. Bridgit even pursued music later (her song 'Hurricane' is a bop), and Bradley popped up in other Disney projects like 'Mighty Med.' Funny how child actors grow up—makes me nostalgic for those early 2010s Disney Channel days!
Oh, Aria Montgomery! She's one of those characters you can't help but root for, even when she's making questionable choices. The role is played by Lucy Hale, who absolutely brought Aria to life with her expressive eyes and that mix of vulnerability and fierceness. I remember binge-watching 'Pretty Little Liars' and being totally drawn to how Lucy balanced Aria's artistic soul with all the chaos of Rosewood. She made the character feel real—like someone you'd actually want to be friends with, despite the whole 'dating her teacher' thing. Lucy's performance was a big part of why Aria stood out in the Liars' dynamic.
Funny enough, I later discovered Lucy Hale's music career and her other acting roles, like in 'Katy Keene.' It’s wild how some actors just have that charisma that translates across different projects. But Aria will always be her most iconic role for me—those layered sweaters and vintage vibes were chef’s kiss.
Spencer Shay from 'iCarly' is such a memorable character, and his age is actually a fun topic because it shifts throughout the series. In the show's first season, he's 26 years old, which makes him a young, quirky older brother figure to Carly. By the final season, he’s around 30, though his chaotic energy never really changes—he’s forever the lovable, slightly immature artist who turns his apartment into wild art installations. It’s hilarious how his age contrasts with his behavior; he feels both like a responsible guardian and a big kid at the same time.
What’s cool is how his age impacts the dynamics. He’s young enough to relate to Carly and her friends but old enough to be the 'adult' in the room (even if he’s barely acting like one). The writers played with that tension a lot, like when he’d try to give advice but end up joining their shenanigans instead. Honestly, Spencer’s age is part of why he’s so endearing—he defies expectations, and that’s why fans still adore him years later.
