Okay, so my friend who’s super into leaks swears there’s an X-Force project in early development—maybe a 2026 release? The buzz is that it’ll bridge 'Deadpool 3' and the new X-Men universe, which makes sense. The team’s too good to waste, and with Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine, why not let him lead a ragtag squad of mutants on insane missions? I’m picturing a mix of dark humor and 'Mission: Impossible' chaos, with Domino’s luck powers stealing every scene. Fingers crossed for more Zazie Beetz; she was perfection.
Man, I just saw some juicy rumors about X-Force floating around online, and I’m totally hyped! There’s this insider scoop suggesting Marvel might be cooking up something fresh for the team—maybe a Disney+ series or even a standalone film. The way 'Deadpool & Wolverine' is setting up the multiverse, it feels like the perfect time to bring back Cable, Domino, and the gang. I’ve been rewatching 'Deadpool 2' lately, and the dynamic between the team is pure gold. If they lean into that chaotic energy, maybe even throw in some new members like Shatterstar or Boom-Boom, it could be epic.
Honestly, though, I’d kill for a darker, R-rated take like the comics. The 'X-Force' comics by Rick Remender are brutal and emotional, and I’d love to see that vibe on screen. Ryan Reynolds has been teasing stuff on social media, but who knows? Until Marvel drops an official announcement, I’ll just be here refreshing my news feed like a maniac.
As a longtime comic reader, the idea of more X-Force content has me grinning. The team’s history is wild—from the gritty 90s runs to the more recent 'Uncanny X-Force' arc, which was basically a morality play with stabby swords. If they adapt that, especially with the original lineup (Psylocke, Fantomex, Archangel—ugh, my heart!), it could be a game-changer. A TV show might work better than a movie, though. Imagine a 10-episode season diving into their black-ops missions, with time for character development and messed-up moral dilemmas.
But here’s the thing: the MCU’s X-Men reboot is still a mystery. Will X-Force tie into that, or stay in Deadpool’s corner? I need answers, Kevin Feige! Until then, I’ll just reread 'X-Force Vol. 3' and daydream about live-action Warren Worthington losing his dang mind.

“I want a divorce.”
The room stilled.
“Excuse me?” His voice was silk wrapped around steel. “What did you just say?”
“You heard me.” I said, getting up from the bed, holding the sheets tightly around my body as I walked towards the dresser. I opened the drawer and pulled out the divorce paper, handing it to him. His eyes darkened. “I want a divorce…”

There’s an envelope sitting in the middle of my desk. White. Unmarked. Perfectly centered, like someone placed it there with intention.
My name is typed across the front.
“Termination of Employment.”
My stomach sinks.
I scan the rest—employment ended effective immediately… final paycheck processed… return company property… Thank you for your service.
He even dared to say thank you.

Honestly, I'm itching for a full-on X-Force project — that grim, chaotic team is perfect for something loud and weird. Right now, though, there isn't a confirmed standalone X-Force animated series or live-action film announced by Marvel Studios. What we've seen on screen are fragments: the jokey, doomed X-Force squad in 'Deadpool 2' and, more recently, the chaos around Wolverine and Deadpool in 'Deadpool & Wolverine', which nudges the door open for mutant teams but doesn’t officially kick off an X-Force franchise.
Behind the scenes, the landscape matters: the X-Men film rights used to be a different story before Disney bought Fox, so now Marvel has the freedom to use these characters more broadly. That makes a future X-Force project plausible — especially for Disney+ where Marvel can experiment with tone. Still, nothing is official as of mid-2024; most of what you’ll read are hopeful rumors and casting wishlists. If they do greenlight something, I’d love a violent, borderline satirical take that leans into comics like Rob Liefeld’s original chaos or Rick Remender’s darker 'Uncanny X-Force'. For now, I’m re-reading the comics and replaying the cameos in the films while I wait.
