She stared at the plump, happy child with his bright green eyes and wide smile. She was absolutely not going to cry at a child. She absolutely was. This child was a living miracle

Rose’s POV The Lycan’s cruel words hit me like a punch to the gut. Alpha Lewis had seemed so plausible. Like his sidekick, Connor, the driver-cum-guard. No-one at any point had used the term ‘sex slave’ and this sounded like a whole lot more than just making my body available to Lycan Adam 24/7. I had to admit he was attractive in a rugged kind of way, with a broad chest and the most incredible blue eyes.

Not only was Giovanni a Lycan, just like Adam, but he also held authority over a pack, mirroring Adam's own position. Amidst this tumultuous encounter, the sound of a familiar voice pierced through the tension. Ryle, Isabella and Giovanni's young son, burst out of the house, calling out to Adam with unbridled joy. Without hesitation, the little boy ran towards Adam, leaping into his arms. Adam's face softened with a mixture of surprise and affection as he embraced Ryle, showering him with kisses on the cheek.

His pure blue eyes were beaming with passion as he examined carefully on my face. Instinctively, I thought he was about to kiss me, so I tried to move back, but he stopped me by placing both his hands on my hips. Then, he said in a deep, husky voice - "I'm a special type of werewolf, Louisa. I'm a Lycan."

Carson stepped forward, to the fear of Maxwell. “I do not know where she is,” he said, as he tries to clamber out the other side of the bed. “Sit down,” Carson commanded. Maxwell had no choice. Although he was an Alpha, Carson was the Lycan Alpha, and his command could hold Maxwell. Maxwell had no choice but to sit back in bed.

"For a race with beastly transformation and magic, you guys are awfully quiet. I haven't seen one show of magic since I arrived." Emris shot her a deadpan look, then sighed. "I guess your history books skipped over an important information: Lycans are and have always been peaceful creatures. And our magical abilities?" He held out his hand and a tornado formed; circling his fingers till it vanished into thin air. "Every Lycan either has fire, earth, water or wind. And honestly? It's easy to forget about them." "Why is that?" "Someone with a stronger right arm will use their right hand for everything. Lycans are stronger when shifted, the abilities are simply a plus."

Aran regained consciousness, watched Ronan’s closed eyes and murmured, “He is…in a coma.” Asher’s eyes snapped at him, “A coma?” Finn demanded, “Why in a coma?” Aran’s voice shook as he revealed, “Because…now he will also remember who he really is…” he whispered, meeting Asher and Finn’s eyes, “Recalling…why his lycan is…the Dread lord.” Asher and Finn looked at him in disbelief. “Ryker is from nine hundred years ago, so are Seraphina and Ronan,” Finn asked.

I looked after myself, I was the Alpha of the most powerful Pack in the USA, and I needed to look like one I am Kaiden D'Angelino, Lycan Alpha of the Blue Valley Pack, with a reputation for being kind and fair, but I was also ruthless in my pursuit of what is right. No one dared cross me and earn my displeasure; my form of justice was swift and deadly, but it led to a happy, successful Pack who lived and worked hard, but they also had a lot of fun.

“Yes, the bad males are coming and the only way to protect grandmother and grandfather is for us to leave… But we can come back once everything settles, just like Father said.” I look up at Zachariah, open my link and growl, “Did you tell him?” Darius laughs in my arms and says, “No, mummy. He didn’t tell me I just knew, as did Zion and Carlos…” “Who are they? Sweetheart.” “Zion is my Panther and Carlos is my Lycan…” I see Zachariah’s head snap down to Darius before he then crouches down next to me and says, “You can feel and talk to both your Panther and Lycan?”

He didn't blame her nor did he find the question stupid because she was a human and doesn't know anything about the Lycanthropes. "That is not how finding your mate works, Rory. Every Lycan has his own special mate, like the soulmate. Selena has blessed us with the mate bond to find our mates and once a Lycan sets his eyes on his mate or perceives the person he knows instantly that she is his mate. I've known Livia for a long time now and she isn't my mate, you are Rory." Aurora noticed how he shortened her name which sounded weird because only her family called her that.
