After a few seconds, Samuel blinks a couple of times and his eyes return back to normal. “Aaron has just called me down to the dungeons. But he means well, most of the time.” We started walking around the grocery store, the tension slowly dissipating as we chatted. Aaron had a way of making me feel comfortable, and I found myself enjoying his company. “So, what do you do, Sara?” he asked. “Well, I used to be an accountant . Just started a new job as Mr. Samuels personal assistant actually,” I said.

As they approached the entrance, a tall, blonde, blue-eyed man came out to greet them. The man was overjoyed to see Samuel. "Hey, Eric!" "Surprised to see you here!" "When did you return to Switzerland?" the man asked enthusiastically, shaking hands and lightly bumping shoulders with Samuel, the two seeming very familiar. "I returned not long ago," Samuel replied with a smile. Then, holding Kimberly's hand, he introduced her, "This is Aaron, a classmate from my university days." And to Aaron, "This is my wife." Seeing Kimberly, Aaron's eyes widened in disbelief, "You're married?"

Aaron typed. "Yep, you didn't answer my questions last time. So, I have one more deal. If you agree, I might release everything, as promised," Samuel replied. "Deal? What do you want?" Aaron typed, his anger bubbling. "Simple: what's your relationship with Liah Williamson?" Samuel asked. "None of your business," Aaron refused. "Do you want the patients to suffer because of me?" Samuel sent the message with a mocking emoji. "Just release the hospital!" Aaron pleaded.

Sam whispers into the phone. I want to smack her through the phone. Of course, we aren't cool. If we were okay, she'd love me back, and Mr. Darcy wouldn't be an option for her. "Sure, Sam. We're cool. Sorry I made an ass of myself last night. I was a little drunk. I hope I didn't say anything too embarrassing." Sam breaths into the phone with a sigh of relief. "So you're not in love with me?" I don't respond right away. But, whatever I say now will make Sam question the rest of her life with Mr. Darcy.

"Hi Samantha", he said smiling. Sam blushed and tucked her hair behind her head,"Hi Aaron". I rolled my eyes, "Sure I'm invincible, hi to you too Aaron", I said. He slowly removed his eyes from Sam and then looked at me, "Yeah uhm, Amber said something about you guys going on and that you should be ready in 20 minutes, something something something get going ", he said.

Riley takes a moment to go back through Dee's files and notes, she was only 16 when she met Blake Samuels, he was 21, was she too young and nieve to understand what type of man he is? Or was? I looked over at Aaron and noticed the little stubble on his chin and jaw line. Unconsciously, my hand reached out and I ran my palm on his cheek. His head moved towards me and he looked at me. I moved onto his lap and faced him. I brought my lips close to him and kissed him.

He then grabbed a beer and jumped up onto the table. “To the happy couples,” he announced, looking down Abi, Blair, Leo and me, “The happy singles,” he added, turning to Charlotte with a wink, “The guys, girls, gays and theys alike. I wish you all joy and good fortune in this next chapter. Here’s to new beginnings!” “New beginnings,” we all repeated. Luca then chugged his entire beer before letting out a wild scream. “Now let’s party like it’s 2016!”
