I was going to be the one to do it one way or the other, I needed to play this game. The door opened without warning, and I quickly slipped back into character, fragile, sweet, grateful. We made it to the front door just as it opened, the three girls filing in. "Hey you two," Quinn greeted with her summer smile and tousled strawberry blonde waves. She pulled Ace and me into a hug, stood up on her toes, and then left a chaste kiss on our cheeks before pulling away, "I'm going to go through some of Gunnar's things. Thank God his room is at the other end of the house." She muttered the last part under her breath before stalking off, not waiting to hear Ace's retort. He threw his head back and let out a belly rumbling laugh before settling his attention on Miranda, "Get that sexy ass over here," he ordered with confidence.
