The dresser had a matching vanity table with a large mirror, flanked by two delicate golden lamps. In the corner of the room, there was a cosy armchair with a soft, plush cushion, perfect for lounging and reading a book. Next to it, a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf filled with books I had never seen before. I walked over to the bookshelf, my eyes scanning each title with interest. The walls were painted a soft lavender colour, and on one of them hung a stunning piece of art that immediately drew my attention. It was a large canvas painting of a peaceful forest, with vibrant greens and browns that made me feel like I was standing in the middle of the woods.

I imagined. The library had tall floor-to-ceiling shelves, with long windows that had draped curtains over them. Above was a bright overhead chandelier light. There were red soft plush couches at different corners of the room. I looked to my right at the far end of the room. There was a big mahogany desk with a recliner. Though the table was empty, on it stood a desk lamp, notepads, and a pen holder for jotting. Behind it on the wall was a beautiful wallpaper with bold imprinted letters on it - READING IS LIFE. This was heaven basically. What else would appease me other than these books?

First I looked around her house. It wasn't a huge house, more on the smaller side but it was the cute kind of small. All the walls were covered in wooden planks so it gave a kind of cottage vibe. And all the decorations were in pastel colors which was the complete opposite of her personality. And to top everything off she had these shelves lining almost every part of the walls and they were all full of books. Romantic books by the look of it. And they all looked very well loved. You can understand now why it was all so confusing to me.
