Michael shook his head, signalling that she shouldn't offend the Moores.
After glaring menacingly at Ashton, he forced a smile and said, "I apologize for my wife's rudeness, Mr. Witt. But is the Moore family aware of Ashton's background? We're just concerned that he might've fooled Mrs. Moore. After all, his past is extremely disgraceful."
Otto raised his eyebrows and asked grimly, "What do you mean by that?"
Lowering his voice, Michael explained, "Mr. Witt, Ashton here used to be my son-in-law. However, because of his many evil deeds, we kicked him out of the family. I'm worried that… the Moores might be inviting disaster into the family."
