She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, “There’s nothing better.”
“Won’t you miss it living in a stuffy apartment in some city? And look at the way the sun cascades through the leaves, creating those beams of light, dappling the leaves. It’s glorious. So is the birdsong, and the rustling leaves, and the breeze. And it’s all better in wolf form.”
She sighed and took off her rucksack.
“Turn around,” she ordered, “And if I catch you looking, I will file a complaint to the Luna. I know my rights, Elias.”
