Since these were real human bones, they could easily avoid being caught by claiming these bones as medical materials.

"Sam, is Kristen hiding because she doesn't want to donate her bone marrow to me?" Violet asked pitifully. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. Samuel ruffled her hair affectionately. "Don't worry. It's just leukemia. Even if Kristen doesn't donate her bone marrow to you, I'll search the entire country to find you a match." Violet pouted and said, "My body didn't show any signs of rejection upon receiving Kristen's bone marrow. The doctor said he's never seen two people with such a high level of compatibility."

Chapter 2: The Rot Beneath The next morning, Atlas wakes with the shape of the girl still burned into his mind. Her white hair, the way she didn’t move even when the wind picked up. She’d looked like she belonged there, a fixture among the dead. His dreams hadn’t been any kinder. He’d dreamt of bones beneath his skin, shifting like they were trying to get out. He'd dreamt of voices whispering in the dark, too low to understand but heavy with meaning.

73 MARCUS The alley was dim, lit only by the flickering streetlight above. I leaned against the wall, arms crossed, waiting for Spencer to show up. He was always anxious, always worrying about something. I could feel it in the air. He rushed into view, his face pale and his breath quickened. “Marcus,” he said, glancing around as if the shadows might swallow him whole. “We need to talk. Annalise is up to something. She’s gathering support in the other realm.”

She mouths hi. All this while Ana and Trisha stood at like third parties. "Where is Alexs?" Christopher asks with a calm smile.
