“Leah, it’s alright. You’re safe.” His words began to calm me once again. There was a gentle knock at the door; my head snapped around, looking at the door. It opened slowly and in stepped an older lady in a pant suit. Her long blonde hair pinned back into a neat ponytail. She was carrying a notebook under her arm.
