That was a problem I needed crushed immediately. “Find her,” I barked into the phone the second it connected. “I want eyes on Damian Reeves’ movements, every meeting, every location...” I needed to know his next move before he even got a chance to execute it. The door slammed open. I snapped my head up, irritation flaring, ready to tear into whoever had dared interrupt me. Antonio. He was breathing hard, his usually composed face pale, eyes wide with urgency. He didn’t speak before I instantly knew something was wrong.

He's dressed in a half sleeved flower printed shirt and denim shorts and an Aviator square sunglasses covers his eyes. He removes the sunglasses and stares me in the eye with a look that says 'of course, I came' "M...Mis...Mister Trevelyan?" Peter stammers, making me tear my eyes away from Anthony's. "Anthony, meet Peter...my um, old friend" I introduce, still shocked that he came "...and his wife, Molly" And then Anthony’s arm is wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer than ever. The way he does it, one would think he was staking a claim...on me but I know better, he’s just doing this for his blessed ‘publicity’.

You were right he’s been doing more than watching her,” Luciano hands me the folder and I quickly open it and grab the photos and flip through them. My jaw clutches tightly.

His mouth curled up in frustration, showing that he clearly knew what Wessex was telling her. "Reeves was only a cop two or three years ago. Before that, he was a criminal masquerading as a private thief. He ran a notorious syndicate of thieves. and has been arrested several times for fraud, theft, property management and industrial proofs.I can guarantee that he is acquainted with every known criminal in the UK. His modifications are undeniably clear, there are many who believe that he is still doing business with the old team of underworld businessmen. He is not to be trusted, Torcia."

He saw her earlier with Mrs Morgan but didn't know what they were discussing and he wasn't suspicious as well since they were like mother and daughter. Mrs Morgan was one of the trusted security agents and she was the oldest in the house. But now, he believed her disappearance had everything to do with her. Anthony stepped out of the room and shut the door. After searching everywhere including where he searched before, he made up his mind to question Mrs Morgan. ********** Trevor stuttered and a wide grin was plastered on his face as he lay sprawled on the floor with 10 bottles of bourbon and whiskey beside him. He was wasted no doubt, but he liked it. At least, he wasn't having the thought

“You have to tell Raven. Alright?” I nodded, but it felt hollow. A knock came at the door. It creaked open. “Anthony is here.” I stood quickly, glancing at Mom. “I have something to check on.” “Go, darling.” I hurried downstairs. Anthony waited, professional as always, briefcase in hand. “Hey, Anthony.” “Mrs. Reeves,” he said with formality. “We should speak privately.” I led him to the library. He remained standing as I sat at the head of the table. He laid out several documents and a flash drive.

They both watched Anthony open the door and shut it, without a word. ~ ~ ~ Reeves sat in his office, with his earphones on. He has been trying to listen in for days about Angela and Sarah's plans. Their voices could tell something was going on. But now he's feeling frustrated and impatient with it. He pressed pause and pulled the earphones out and sat there quietly. He was glad the necklace was working. Sarah wore it everyday without knowing. But he needs more than what he's hearing from them. He picked up his notebook and looked at what he had written down.

She watched him rub his nose as he said these things and remembered some rumors and gossips she heard about a blond guy from the senior years of the Academy. "You're that guy. Anthony Reeves—the Yankee?," she asked but was answered with silence. She sighed and leaned back. "You... haven't shown up at the graduation ceremony, have you?" Anthony looked at her and frowned. "Yeah! Yeah. What a sad story...blah blah," he replied sarcastically as he lay on his back at the other end of the couch, putting some distance between them. "I didn't mean it like...that," Iktanne gasped as she stared at him, wide-eyed.

He was finding this damned uncle of his more and more annoying. "If you don't do what is required, people might get suspicious. They already know that he was killed by Ashton. Actually, Ashton leaving might be a good thing for you." Kevin said after thinking about something. His eyes also lit up and he almost could not hide his excitement at the plan that had formed in his mind.

Chapter 20 "Did you see how he looked?" Ray's voice carried pure satisfaction. "He hasn't slept in days. He's falling apart at the seams. Our plan worked beyond what we expected." His smirk was sharp. Vicious. Everything I felt inside but couldn't show while Leo was watching. The office door burst open with enough force to rattle the hinges. Anthony strode in. His expression was thunderous. Dark clouds gathering before a storm. "What game are you playing?" His voice came out low. Dangerous. The kind of quiet that made the air feel heavy, like the moment before lightning strikes. "You can't seriously be considering giving that man fifty million dollars."
