I pulled the arrow back and let go of it. I heard the voices around me before my eyes moved to the dart. 'Shit' I Internally cursed. Almost. I almost got it. The arrow stepped exactly at the tiny black line separating green and red.

Ace sat at the head of the long mahogany table, his fingers drumming softly against the surface as his eyes scanned the room. Around him were his most trusted men—loyal, seasoned, and ready for anything. These were the people who had stood by him through countless battles, bloodshed, and betrayals. Yet, despite their loyalty and their strength, Ace couldn’t shake the gnawing feeling of helplessness that had settled in his chest.

Wolf followed he instructions and stood behind me. "You look wonderful, baby." he whispered in my ear. Then he thrust a box into my hands. "What's this?" I asked and he grinned as I opened it. "It's a corsage. It goes with your dress. My dad said that we need to get you all flowers." Wolf explained and I grinned, noticing that he had a matching boutonniere. Foxy had a matching corsage with Scarlett while Don and Hound had matching boutonnieres. Jackal had gotten Cassy a corsage in the same colors as her dress and his boutonniere.

I began, my own voice strained, "we need to stay focused. I can't afford distractions right now." Before I could finish my sentence, I sensed a disturbance in the air. The subtle shift in the wind carried the unmistakable scent of danger. Three silver arrows, glinting ominously in the moonlight, were hurtling towards me from different directions – north, northwest, and northeast. The realization hit me like a jolt, and instinctively, I maneuvered to evade the impending threat.

Finally, the words on the screen come into focus. Quincy: Are you still coming in today? Quincy: Tiffany, wake up so you're here on time! Quincy: I'm serious. It's a hair emergency! We're doing all-over color, right? "What the hell?" I grumble. "What the hell is a hair emergency?" "Hmm?" Rowen mumbles as he continues his journey with his lips. "Nothing. Quincy's being weird." Me: Relax, you psycho. I'll be there. And yes, all-over color.

The journey is long enough, and it gives Aranjo time to think about the Emperor, the Archer God. "Are you witnessing all this? Do you enjoy it and want to fuck me? One thing is for sure, we will do it when I return to the celestial realm and I will make you prostrate asking to be satisfied!" mumbled Aranjo, addressed to the Emperor of the celestial realm. The Archer God who was always watching Aranjo through the portal mirror, felt something tickling. The taste that had been so long gone had never even approached him, even God Archer was sure that the taste was already destroyed.

Azraiel’s Gamma, Theo was on his knees bowing in front of his mate, the Luna of the Blue Orchid Pack. Theo lifts his head a little, his eyes shine with unshed tears. He looks straight into the black wolf’s eyes and says, “Alpha!”

I rose an eyebrow in a dare. "I'll deal with you later," Gunnar warned under his breath with a glare over his shoulder. "Oh, I doubt that. You're going to be busy. So let's wrap this up so we can all get to the fun bit," I suggested, rotating my finger in a circular motion.

Arisa smiled lightly. Levi finally stepped forward. Arisa acknowledged him with a nod and stepped away from Ruben, giving him time to stand back up. Levi placed three arrows on the string of his bow and pulled back, taking his aim. Arisa got into position, carefully calculating his every movement shift. That was the problem though. He did not, in anyway, give up what he was planning or where he was going. Arisa frowned lightly. "Begin!"
