​The Shadow Beast rises. ​It is colossal, a creature made of dense, swirling umbral smoke and stars caught in a dying void. It opens a maw filled with thousands of serrated shadow-teeth and lets out an earth-shattering, apocalyptic howl. The sound physically strips the emerald moss right off the stone walls. The trapped fireflies in the amber orbs simply pop, their tiny lights extinguished in a second. ​...keep control... keep control... Liora, keep control...

… Through Leo's and my persistent efforts in leading the team to search high and low within the former forests for clues, we finally managed to find the main source of the water contamination. A massive meteorite had fallen on Earth and was now sitting on the peak of a mountain, transmitting its destructive radiation down through the roots of the trees and contaminating all nearby water sources on Earth. The apocalypse had happened because of this meteorite. Octoria, one of the major countries, had launched missiles at it, intending to shatter the meteorite before it entered the Earth's stratosphere. However, they hadn't known then that the meteorite would turn out to be so hard and dense.

"What are you trying to do?" "What can I do?" Clayton shrugged. "I'm just a lowly beastkin." No sooner had the words left his mouth than he lunged at Salem. Terrified, Salem instantly shifted into his beast form. The black wolfhound instinctively lunged at Clayton, its sharp teeth sinking viciously into his arm. Clayton was knocked into the coffee table, shattering it with a sharp crack as glass shards scattered across the floor. Salem was stunned. He wasn't expecting Clayton's move to be a feint.

I lifted my head to see what happened to Apocalypse. To my surprise was there a big hole in the ceiling and lots of debris and rubble mixed with wooden beams. I got up and walked over to what was over of the ceiling. I heard some groans coming from under the debris. Apocalypse was barely alive and stuck under big stone pieces and wooden beams. “You have to do better and more than this to stop me, you pathetic woman.” She coughed and spitted a clot of blood.

James elaborated on the recent incidents involving the appearance of beasts. “First, there was a wild boar more than thirty meters in length. Then, there was a python a few dozen meters long. Before l can think of something to do my eyes almost popped up from their sockets when Venus's shifted into a beast too. I was so shocked that l didnt notice the beast black in color almost teared my fresh. If it's not a big brown beast that bounced on it, l would have been dead by now..
