His words tumbled out of his beutiful mouth sounding harsh in my ears. I felt like something had struck me flat knocking me on the ground,nobody ,I mean nobody have ever called me a moron,I immediately hate him and withdrew all the compliments I had thought of him. He wasn't an angel but a dick wiessel. Yes,a dick wiessel. “Are you crazy or something” He spoke again this time looking at me with disdain . “You are the one who is crazy ” I suddenly stated before closing my mouth as the fabric of reality struck me,he was supposed to be my boss .

“You are just a pathetic, arrogant child who cannot handle a woman putting him in his place! You want to ruin my freedom because your own daddy locked your allowance away like a spoiled little boy!” “Watch your mouth!” I snarled, grabbing her wrist before she could push me again while my own temper flared. “I worked eighteen-hour days to build my own name while you sat on this dusty ranch, hiding behind your father's wealth like a coward. You talk about backbone and legacy, but you are nothing but a hypocritical fraud who uses people to buy her own air!”

It hit me then—I hadn’t thought about my phone even once. “Well, you were right about one thing,” I said, looking across the table at him. “You’ll have to be more specific. I’m usually right about everything.” I rolled my eyes. “And here I was about to pay you a compliment. Then you go and ruin it with that ego.” “Arrogance is when you overestimate your abilities. I don’t exaggerate. I’m simply accurate.” “Stuck-Up Suit really does suit you, doesn’t it?” He ignored my jab. “What was the compliment?”

He was infuriating, arrogant, and cruel. And yet...

Her heart throbbed at the way he looked from the side profile. He was, by no doubts, gorgeous. But that arrogance he carried, arrogance that irked others and made them question their own possession and wealth was sitting on his face like a tattoo permanently etched on his features. He reached over, pushed his door open, and stepped out into the cool evening air. I followed him out, my boots hitting the gravel. "Are you humble-bragging right now?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him. Ares stopped and looked back at me, a sharp smirk cutting across his face. "That was a fact, beautiful. I don't need to be humble to brag about my wealth. I'm a billionaire. I earned the right to be arrogant about it." "Shameless," I teased, though a small smile tugged at my lips.

For what though? "Your confidence is misleading," I tell him with a snort. "And you don’t like me oozing it?" His head corks to a side, amusement swirling as he stares at me. "Like I said, it is misleading," I repeat and take my seat again then I look away from him. "I wouldn’t even call it confidence, arrogance would be the best word to describe it." I add. "Haa... You think I’m arrogant?" "You are arrogant." Carla returns from where she went, holding up a vase. That’s probably what she went to get outside. "You are very arrogant. Your cockiness borders on delusion sometimes," she states, settling the vase down on the coffee table.

Privileged bastard. "You're such an arrogant bitch, is your mouth too heavy to say thank you?" Hearing his question made me conclude that I'm not gonna thank him again, he has no right to call me arrogant, "I am not interested in saying thank you." I huffed grabbed the water bottle in the front and took a nice gulp, "Arrogant thankless woman." I heard him mumble and the urge to whack his head with the water bottle I was holding intensified but I changed my mind because our lives were in his hands.

He explained calmly. I sat there for a while letting his words soak in before a burst of confidence rushed through me. "Fuck you and your rules." I said in his face as I emphasized the word 'fuck' He clenched his jaw and his eyes flared with anger, but he took a deep breath before speaking. "You just got here so imma let this slide. But just know I don't do this often so do it again and I won't hesitate to slit your wrist." He said calmly as his hands rested on his temples.

I expect any, just one good thing but he had none. “For a business deal. They refused to work with me as I was too ‘arrogant’ so I had to do something even if it meant saying stupid things.” Replying monotonous, he rested his hands in his pockets, holding his head high with pride.
