He then stepped to the side and with a broad sweep of his hand, welcomed Ella to a magical sight. The tall trees around her had spherical lanterns that gave out soft light over a path lined with small round stones. Curtains of white flowers cascaded from the hanging vines that bordered an artificial water fall that provided the refreshing sounds of splashing water. The cool night air was scented by the jasmine that were blooming along the stone path.

Alex surfaced from the water at Boulder Coast beach and walked back towards the shore, running both hands over her wet hair and then shook her arms to removed excess water on her skin. She saw Damon stood up from their spot and grabbed her towel. With her height and physical form, Alex is aware of people looking at her. With the sunset behind her, the image she projected to the onlookers are jaw dropping. During her younger years, several talent and modelling scouts had approached her, inviting her to audition but she paid no heed and declined them politely. But that didn’t stop them from trying to convinced her.

The man remained silent, listening intently. "I asked for some money for plastic surgery to make my face worthy of his wife, but he refused to give me the money for nothing," Ariana laughed ruefully, but her voice sounded bitter.
