His eyes were closed. “He’s cute,” Beverly said.

They had a lot of experience in taking care of the baby. However, most of the time, they were idle. That was because there was only one little fellow that they could not bear to let go of, whether it was his father or his mother. A pair of large eyes, which were like black gems, were big and lively. Wearing small white clothes, the little guy laid on the bed, his legs kicking vigorously. As he waved his hands, he even communicated with others and spoke some infant language. Betty never knew that it would be so fun to have a little guy. Watching her son like this, she never got tired of it.

I chuckled as my grip around the child tightened. “I think so,” I turned to him. “Do you have an apple or something I could give him?” “Uhh,” Kai shrugged, taking a quick glance around. “I don't think he can eat that though but maybe beer could do?” “Beer?” I frowned, slowly shaking my head. “I don’t think he can take that.” “Exactly,” Kai said with a faint smirk. “Babies don't eat apples either.”
