The photograph in Junes hand felt really heavy like it was made of stone or something. Her fingers were. The paper was making a soft noise under her grip. The picture showed her and Benson standing on a balcony looking out at a city that was made of stone and had floating gardens. They looked a lot older like they were in their forties or something. Benson had grey hair and June was wearing a fancy robe.. What really caught her attention was the sky behind them. There were three suns. One was red one was gold and one was a blue color. It made her feel sick to her stomach.

They may not like me, but at least when they're near, other students can't kill me. Ahead of me, Rowan, Seyla, and Lyra, all link arms as they giggle in excitement. I slow my pace slightly to keep a distance. I don't want my sour mood to bring down theirs. I glance up at the night sky, and I gasp. I stop walking altogether as I take in the millions of stars lighting the sky. I almost forgot how beautiful the night sky is.

She saw flashes of lights from the figures in the sky. A bright light was going from one towards the other while the other person dodged and raised a counter attack, sending a red beam of light. It was like watching a movie for Mia. Everything seemed so when she suddenly realized that they were fighting. Right above her head a fight was going on. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Sky was so weak he could barely keep his eyes open, but when he saw Brooks, he gathered every last bit of pride he had left. Sky looked Brooks right in the eye, his gaze steady even as he was dying. "Fuck... you," he whispered. Brooks didn't say anything. He just pulled the sword back and drove it hard into Sky’s chest. He pushed it all the way in, right through the heart, until the hilt hit Sky’s skin.

DAMIEN’S P.O.V The weak signal on Skylo’s laptop blinked faster but weaker as he drove further. “Where’s it leading?” I muttered, my voice rough, as I asked clearly impatient. Skylo leaned closer to the screen, squinting. “Outskirts. Near the docks…warehouse district.” He paused, his tone shifting. “It’s too isolated. I don’t like it.” “Neither do I,” I said flatly, staring straight ahead. “But I don’t have the luxury of liking it.”
