I can see a pair of lights following us. “We’re being followed”, I say, and he looks in the mirror. “Fuck, but not for long”, he says as he speeds up. I rest against the seat as the speed increases, and I realise I have never driven this fast. Adrenaline takes over my body. Spider moves fast, losing them behind us.

My heart was hammering out of my chest before, but presently it was ten times faster. As Sebastian’s right foot pressed the throttle pedal, Velocity gripped me closer to my seat, plunging me deeper into the fabric. We took off like a bullet. Everything became a blur. All I could do was close my eyes and clutch the door panel with one hand while holding my seat with the other. With my eyes closed, I tapped into my spirituality.

Justin let out a low chuckle as he spanked my ass once again while I trembled against him. “Pick a blindfold, stunning.” Justin murmured after a few seconds, pointing at the two blindfolds which were citrently being held up by Blaze. One was black and the other was white, I personally liked the white one, it was one of my favorites because aside it being decorated with real diamonds, it gave me this illusion that I was innocent, when indeed, I wasn’t. “The white one.” I watched and gulped as Blaze moved towards me, “I’ll miss staring into these gorgeous eyes.” Blaze murmured right before the blindfold covered my eyes, cascading me in complete darkness which I eagerly welcomed.

My quota of ten deaths per city was almost full. Being blind was hard - no one wished that for themselves, but I found it easier since I was an Alpha. My senses were ten times better than humans and so, I was a perfect blind man who could do almost everything. But I needed my eyes for one thing… "Hey, handsome." A lady snapped me out of my thoughts. I was sitting at my favorite spot in the club where I could feel the movement of the crowd better and the scent of different perfumes mingling with the smoke from the dancefloor.

But, Werewolf speed stands nothing against Vampire speed. When I took his hand, albeit hesitantly, he didn’t give me time to even prepare myself ahead of it before I saw everything flashing right from my eyes. I’ve always thought we are fast but I have only one word to describe Vampire speed. ‘Damn’. That’s it, nothing else.

Those who failed to dodge in time were hit by the pebbles, bleeding in pain. "To have such skills at your age shows that you certainly are a rare talent," Anthony said as he swung his blade again. This time, his strike came faster. Even so, Sebastian dodged it swiftly and thrust his sword forward. There was a blurred shadow as the blade moved at an unimaginably fast speed. It made those who were watching feel dizzy. Sebastian moved as fast as lightning, while Anthony moved like a gust of wind. The two of them left only fragmented shadows behind them.

“Second rule: every dare escalates. Agreed?” “Agreed,” I breathed, and he set his glass down, producing a silk blindfold from his pocket. “First dare: let me blind you,” he murmured, tying it over my eyes, plunging me into darkness. His fingers traced my neck, teasingly slow, then slid under my dress, brushing my panties. “Already wet,” he teased, rubbing my clit through the fabric, the sensation heightened by my blindness.

Love's POV One month later... "Close your eyes," Mira says, startling me as she opens our apartment door while I am sitting on the couch studying Brail. "What!" I ask my hand over my chest. "What is happening?" "Just close your eyes." She insists so I put the book aside and cover my eyes with my palms. "Now keep them close until I tell you." I can hear him moving, closing the door. Footsteps creak over our old floors. Ever since I started helping Sebastian I feel like I have heightened my senses as well. To even out the field as much as I could sometimes I would close my eyes to be blind with him.
