I have always loved the forest, it is always so peaceful. So colourful. I move around the beautiful path between the trees, with my arms spread out so I can feel the breeze flow pass me. Each leaf has a different feel to it. It is as if I can communicate with each of them. I smile at the smooth feel of the leaves on my small hands as they brush softly against it. "I could live here forever," I think to myself. "NOOOOO!" I am suddenly brought back into reality with the piercing sound that robs peace from the environment.

Ahana ****** "Bride In Blue...Bride In blue...Bride In Blue..." I yelled throwing all the newspapers on the floor that had only Anvi in it and the headline stated, "Bride In Blue". I was supposed to be the talk of the town but all I received was a small corner in the newspaper. All the while my marriage was the talk of the town but on my big day that bitch Anvi snatched it from me. I didn't buy a lehnga worth Rupees 40 lakh so that I could get a place in the corner of the newspaper. I wanted to be in the limelight and if not for that stupid girl I would have been on the television.

It exposed what it had been hiding, a bright blue blob-like thing with misty white pattern spiralling within it. Once again Matthew was dazzled by it. “Whoa~” After being mystified by it for a few seconds, Matthew slowly reached for it. Upon touching the blob, he felt as if he was sucked into it. When he came to, he was in a void of space. The void was not all black but it was a misty rainbow realm. He felt as if he was floating. “Matthew, son of Mark. Thirteenth descendant of Draco Blair.” Multiple voices echoed at the same time, welcoming Matthew. A soft blue figure without a face or clothes appeared in front of him. “It is a pleasure to meet you at last.”

“Items always seem to find their owner after they have overcome or fixed what they are suffering from. It’s part of the magic here at the Blue Moon.” Greta nodded as she scribbled her notes.

“You don’t understand the bigger picture.” I tilted my head slightly. “Do you?” He frowned. “I know what you are planning to do,” I continued “You want to be powerful.” “That’s not what this is,” he snapped. “Isn’t it?” His nostrils flared. “Did you know Blue doesn’t see colors the way others do?” I said calmly. “And neither do you.” He stared at me, confusion shifting into anger. “She has color vision deficiency,” I went on. “And so do you.”

The sweetheart neckline curves gently, the skirt falling in flowing waves. Maren breathes out in awe. “It’s beautiful. Who would’ve thought something like this would come our way? A blessing, right when you needed it.” Her optimism radiates, filling the room like sunshine after rain. I can hardly breathe. My mind flashes back to the slip of paper I’d picked earlier during the partner selection—the same shade of blue. And now this. Blue has never been my favorite color. At least, it never used to be. But now, something about it draws me in. It feels familiar, almost comforting, like it’s tugging at a memory I can’t quite reach.

“Is it just me… or am I getting a bit paranoid.” “You’re not.” It was Blue. He was leaning against the thick trunk of the tree. The birds, the brush of wind in the trees, the far off call of a mountain cat. He smiled at me and laughed when he noticed my face became too pale. “I felt someone else’s presence too.” Standing just a few meters away was Blue. The sunrise gleamed off his long silver hair. “You did?” I asked as I was trying to calm myself, still hearing my blood thumping against my ears. “Since when?”

Waist-high and glowing faintly, she looked like something out of a myth. The forest’s darkness bent around her, like even it didn’t want to mess with her. “Beautifully dangerous,” I murmured, smiling despite the exhaustion gnawing at my bones. “Just like me, huh?” Blue made that weird chirp-growl sound, almost smug. Suddenly, a dense mist rolled out across the clearing ahead. My hand went straight to my dagger. “Oh, come on. Not another one.” But before I could take a step forward, Blue’s body flared with a soft blue aura, her power rippling outward in a pulse that cut through the fog, the mist hissed, twisting and then dissolving completely, leaving behind a stretch of empty ground.

I ordered a mocha and a delicious meat pie that I devoured sitting at the tables outside to contemplate and feel the fresh air, I looked at the time and since I still had about 45 minutes left for the interview, I decided to go for a walk to the pier that was next to the entrance of the company, I walked there and when I descended the first steps I heard voices coming from below the platform that was a little further away.
