She took her drawing book from the shelf and sat down near the window where the evening light gently touched her face. Petal opened the sketchbook to a blank white page.Petal’s hands shook as she clutched her pencil, tracing trembling lines across the untouched white sheet of her drawing book. Each stroke was uncertain, blurred by the endless stream of tears falling from her reddened eyes. The salty drops trickled down her cheeks, wetting the paper in scattered, translucent blotches that threatened to ruin her art—but she drew anyway, desperate for distraction, for release. The dim lamplight in her room cast gentle shadows over the page, reflecting the turmoil inside her.

"Fuck, after that last one, I'll happily let you draw a pretty picture on my face." The girls smiled brightly and made their way to our side of the table. Brian gave each of them a black marker and flipped a timer. Hycinth was still wearing her heels, making it easier for her to reach me. I felt her draw quick lines on my cheeks and above my eyebrows, before drawing a circle on my nose and filling it in. "Times up!" Brian called out. "What did you draw?" I asked curiously, although I had an idea. She smirked, "You make an adorable pussy...cat."

This time I am unable to deny it as my face reddens under his gaze. “I want to paint this.” He says suddenly as he gently drops me on the sofa. “What? Paint What?” “You. Blushing. It’s too cute not to.” “As in right now? You want to do that now?” He shrugs, “There is no time like now. I mean, you are redder than anything I have ever seen.” “I don’t think blushing can be held till you’re done. I’ll move, it’ll go, and the whole thing is ruined.”

The horrific thing about the card was that there were two here figures, drawn in a childish hand. Two male figures in crude shirts and tuxes stood on either side of a fat, balloon-like woman figure in the centre. The trio were supposedly holding hands. But what made the rather childish drawing so macabre was the horror. What was terrifying was the face of the female in the centre. The crude drawing of the woman’s face had been scored off with a thick black marker, creating a cross. But what made Bianca gasp aloud, was the bright red slash across the stomach of the woman’s figure.

However, she was not just blushing on her face but had red ears, too. The little girl was blushing so much. Did she think he could not see it, or did she consider him easy to fool? Chris curved his lips slightly and went back to work.

But the moment I shut my eyes, he returned, his breath on my neck, his weight pressing into me. I flinched and shut off the tap. Get a grip, Liana. Wrapped in a towel, I stormed out, pulled my sketchbook from the drawer like a lifeline. I needed to draw. I needed to bleed this ache onto paper. My pencil moved in frantic strokes, lines connecting, curves forming. Skin, shoulders, abs, that signature smirk. My vision blurred, but I kept going until the image was complete. Maxwell. Naked. As I remembered him. I stared at the drawing, breath hitching.

~ I shade the final part of the drawing I am walking on and I grabbed the glass of water on the other stool immediately. I am inside the art room today. I felt like drawing that image that has been stuck in my mind for a long while and I can say I am done. I looked back at the diagram on the drawing board and a smile appeared on my face immediately. I can't help the blush that appears on my face as I remembered that night. Oh God, it has been on my mind for so long and it does not help that it is not a very pure thing. Chris must never see this or I would not be able to face him for life. I would be so embarrassed.

I guess I was supposed to be touched but instead I couldn't help but smirk right back. "It's not my name but I wouldn't be called demonic if I didn't do something to deserve the title," I said and let my face go back to monotone before turning back to my drawing which was starting to look like a bouquet of wilting flowers holding one plastic one which stood out in the middle. There was nothing significant about it and I was probably going to throw the page away once this lesson had ended but before it could, the drawing was snatched off of my table and Zack held it in his hands whispering a ‘woah’ before nudging Blake who was on his other side and getting him to look at it. That man was born with fucking horns in his head! A loud scream emerged out of my throat when I finally saw the finished drawing he made on my face! Pink and purple poops with eyes and mouth! Like the keyboard emojis! This is ridiculous! I touched it and it quickly smeared all over my cheeks since it's still wet. I hope this shit is not so hard to remove or I'm doomed!
