Bound to Alpha Salvatore
The blood glowed for a second, then absorbed into the glass, which flickered before displaying the image of a man.
Ron.
His face appeared calm, composed, with a faint, unreadable smile. The kind of smile you’d expect from someone who always knew more than he let on. His blonde hair was perfectly combed back, a glass of red wine in hand, his background filled with lavish drapery and bookshelves—like he wasn’t sitting behind enemy lines, but in a drawing room.
“Yes?” he asked, voice like velvet, slow and smooth.
Borin stepped forward, fists still clenched. “We lost the eastern battalion. Salvatore’s forces attacked before the sun rose. Your information was wrong, Ron.”
