Fiction writing inherently forces you to ditch a few pet ideas or plot points, but your job as a writer is to serve the book, not your own emotions. Start with characters. Readers don’t pick up a book looking for a theme. Good fiction comes from a compelling plot and strong character development. This means you’ll need a main character who is complex enough to sustain a real character arc (including a backstory), and supporting figures who can motivate subplots off the main story structure.

From the beginning, he'd always known that everyone in the book was simply a paper figure. He hadn't intended to pay much attention to anything either, aside from the fun. So, why now? Even if all the male leads were the same person, what was so strange about that? Uea remembered he hadn't bothered giving his male leads many features, and before he entered this book, he hadn't kissed anyone either.

Author's Note A few months ago, I struggled to write and get my words onto a page. English isn't my first language, and to be honest, I've never considered my vocabulary particularly strong. Then something unexpected happened. The characters in this book suddenly seemed to come alive in my head. Their words, conversations, fears, pasts, dreams, and emotions felt real. Writing this story stopped feeling like putting words together and started feeling like living alongside them. Through that experience, this world slowly came alive.

With a helper of spiritual deities and destiny, he again crossed my path, and everything led me to that moment. To have him as the ideal model for the male character in my book was the proof that I needed to know that he must be mine. Flynn Ashton cured a creative block of months, showing how real-life men can still be charming and fascinating like the characters in a book. He became my ideal character, and I wanted to be the girl in the erotic romance that everyone always wanted to be. In the book, I had made the protagonist have her redemption after the accidental chaos she had led to the good guy's life, although no one knew that I was seeking my own redemption through words.

I knew what was in most fantasy books: fantastical creatures and places, protagonist wins via antagonist revealing plans in some way, damsel in distress, adventure, conclusion, blah boring blah. "Where's mental illness?" "Where are parent MC's?" "Where's the government structure in fantasy books?" "Where's the tie in between worlds?" "Where's the villain who knows not to brag about their plan?" These were things I asked. So after years I created the universe, governments (loosely,) characters, plot and began. I had 5 books completed after 7 years but decided to read through it all. I did not like what I read.
