“I swear to god Axton-” “I’m sorry” Axton starts, stepping close to me. He doesn’t reach for me, but his blue eyes are locked on me. “For the bullying, the hitting. For all of it. It was wrong, and I never, ever should’ve done any of it. If I could change things, mate or not, I would.” the drop of the word mate makes me tense. “They know. Cassandra found out, and they overheard her hate speech” Axton adds, and then he's gripping my shoulders and turning me around. Adam, Axton’s closest friend clears his throat.

He bites his lip and smirks, “The bruises came from him boxing at the gym, so don’t try making stories up because you got called out on being slutty.” I glance around the room, gauging the student’s reactions, and by what I can tell, they are buying Tweedle Dum’s words. I shake my head, “Believe what you want, Brandon, but all you have to do is ask Mason Baker because he’s the one that came in and pulled Tweedle Dee,” nodding toward Toby, “off me, and beat him.”

I replied “Oh, alright. My name's Dave, what's yours?” He asked “Brielle” I told him “Brielle, you're very pretty, with a pretty name” “Thank you” I replied, already starting to get irritated and bored of this conversation.
