She asked as she glanced at the trio who were looking at her with expectant gazes. "Err.... We need your help" the first girl started as Lizzy nodded. "With what?" She asked. "Imisi wants to feature some futarians in her next vlog" the girl replied as Lizzy froze and started having a bad premonition.

My eyes widened as I looked around to see familiar faces and relaxed as I saw Caleb's familiar dark brown eyes. "Here." A cup of water was given to me by Vienna who stroked my head affectionately. There was a campfire in front of me. Just a small one and I saw Vienna, Ally, Byron, Bruno, Alice, Adam, Damian, and Caleb sitting around it. Ally had a blanket around her and she looked a little shaken up as well. I looked down to see a sleeping bag underneath me. "Yes, a goddamn lion. You told us this was a safe campsite?" I heard Bruno's annoyed and angry voice, talking into a phone. "No, we didn't kill it no one's fucking hurt. Make sure this doesn't happen again or I am going to sue you."

It is different when he is in his village first. Camp Upuro is a camp consisting of several large tents, tents made of various kinds of fabrics that are sewn together… into a house – without insulation. They live together, colonize. There are no tents or structures—just hollowed dens, bark-walled nests, and firepits ringed in teeth. It doesn’t smell like decay. It smells like bone and smoke and survival. 134. The school bus rolled down the road, the engine humming as it carried the mass communication and students towards the destination of their much-anticipated camping trip. The arts and entertainment students had to take another school bus since this wouldn’t fit them all. Amber and Axel were seated side by side, their hands interlocked under the cover of their jackets. Amber was giddy that she got to attend this camping trip with them. She was happy she didn’t decline and stayed at home. She had no idea it was for all levels of the mass communication students. She thought it was only them, but thank goodness, she now had Axel, Melissa and Jack.

He picked up his backpack and then went to the camp. He saw that everyone except Arya was sitting around a fire-pit over which they were roasting a freshly caught rabbit. On a table nearby, there was a jug of water, some paper plates, buns and marshmallows. A chest was lying close to it, which had ice and bottles of beer and water. I don’t even have to turn around to know he’s shaking his head at me. The camp air wraps around me, warm and inviting, with the faint scent of pine and freshly turned earth wafting through the breeze. The soft hum of nature fills my ears, broken only by the occasional chirping of birds. Beautiful birds flit between the trees, their bright colors streaking against the dense greenery. Tucked away in the busy city, this camp feels like a sanctuary—a place of hope for children with MDD. My heart swells at the thought of seeing Ava again, of being able to hold her.
