I learned a lot from him in a short period of time working here at Camp Happy Hearts. Captain Chan POV I hope Gen Ari does not retire yet. I enjoyed working with him on how we intercepted the triad gang. I admired his bravery, courage, and perseverance in capturing criminals on land and sea. The guy is just brilliant.

She was pregnant, very obviously pregnant under her white dress. Easton had this look on his face, this huge, beaming smile that I had never, ever seen on him in the two whole years we had been together. It completely broke something inside me as I raised my hand and slapped my own cheek, hard, over and over. “Wake up,” I told myself, but the pain was real, and the lights didn't fade, and the tears just kept falling freely down my face, blurring everything. They reached the front, and the pack priest stepped forward, his voice booming over the silent crowd. “Do you, Easton, take Brenda to be your true mate and Luna forever?”

For the first time, he didn’t seem like the untouchable captain everyone feared. I don’t know what made me walk over. “You okay?” I asked quietly. He lifted his head slowly. Those icy blue eyes met mine, and for a second he looked surprised I was still there. I shifted on my feet. “Earlier… when that guy got hurt. You got to him really fast. Thanks for helping him. Most captains would’ve waited for the coach.” Cole stared at me for a long moment, like my words didn’t make sense to him. “You noticed that?”

I explained to him “Well at least that is more information then I did have. So thank you for that. Now is there anything I can help you with to keep you safe or anything like that?” Captain went on to ask me “If it would be all possible I would like to know who is all on board the ship and see if I know any of the names.” Jon spoke up “Why do you need that and who are you to ask for that?” Captain asked annoyed “My name is Jon and I am the head of the supernatural council. I am here to investigate who maybe trying to kill her. So any help from you would be appreciated." Jon replied

“Back?” Seungmin smirked knowingly. “Oh, right… you wouldn’t know. You’re the transferee, after all. That guy—” he lowered his voice, eyes flicking around as if sharing a dangerous secret, “—was our leader back in 2nd year of middle school.” Joonwoo slowed his steps. “Leader?” Seungmin nodded seriously this time. “Lee Seojun. Mullet, wavy brown hair. Taller, lean, scarred. If you see him, you’ll know. And if you’re smart… you won’t mess with him.”

one of the elders snapped. “It’s a new era, old man. My game, my rules.” These were the elders who were loyal to Leo. They would rather die than join hands with me. Jonah answered drinking water. " Yeah, everyone heard what you did for her today. Are you two a thing now?" Brad Coleman mockingly asked. Brad Coleman was the previous soccer captain before Jonah came to school. Jonah was told by Danny how Brad was so arrogant and cocky, as he would act as he was the only player on the team, and would hardly even pass the ball during games. However, everything changed when Jonah entered the team, his teammates obviously preferred him since he did play with his teammates as a the team they are and Coach Carter noticed that he also noticed Jonah was an inspiration to the others and decided to name him captain instead.
