Its warmth wrapped us in a shield. It felt like more than just protection, the light drew from our connection; a bond built on trust and defiance. Then, like a reflective frame, the beams bounced out of the sky, spreading into different corners of the ground. Like a cage, the light surrounded the whole Pack house and the people under it.
