The Light of My Life

The Light of My Life

"You took a job making deliveries, and now you're working as a cleaner? Are you trying to piss me off? You, of all people, Celia?" Emma exclaimed, her voice so loud that it drew gazes from those around us. Even the lemon-flavored water in the glass she was holding shook a little.

THE BILLIONAIRE HIDDEN BRIDE: Reborn for Revenge

THE BILLIONAIRE HIDDEN BRIDE: Reborn for Revenge

Isabella snapped, tossing a bolt of silk to the floor. “Use Lyon Silk from France.” “And make sure the lighting uses pure beeswax candles not those eye-sore LED lamps.” Liora stood in the doorway, watching the waste unfold. “The LED lighting you call an eyesore is integrated with Azure’s security system, Isabella.” “If you replace it with candles, you’ll create blind spots in the heat sensors.” Isabella turned, holding a rare Ming Dynasty porcelain vase. “Oh, Liora. You’re always thinking about sensors and security.”

The Tale of A Villainess

The Tale of A Villainess

General Li clenches her fists, "You haven't given me a chance at all, have you, Xu Kai?" ** When Xi Ning tells me she doesn't feel well, she asks for my pardon to leave. I suggest to return with her, but she bid me to enjoy the festival. Poor girl. I exhale with exhaustion. Events like this are quite uninteresting without another accompany. I have Xiu Ying, but she informs me that she dares not to be treated with luxury, for she is my servant after all. The city is filled with light and laughter. My intuition guides me to attend the booth where citizens can win lanterns, but only if we solve a mystery correctly. This is an ancient Chinese tradition, where riddles are written within the lante

Damn, I cried because of this book😢😭 But the ending......the author leaves us our own imagination about the ending. This is the best book I've read so far which made me cry and laugh. Nice scenes, nice characters, nice plot. Overall, it's an excellent story. Thank you so much, author😍😘💗💖

This was very well written. No unnecessary and prolonged details. I think my only wish would be an epilogue that contained some more details wrapping up a few things about what happens in the future. I loved this book. I really did.

The Light In His Dark

The Light In His Dark

The pillows are amazing too, heavenly, even. With a heavy sigh, I push the comforter off my tired body and swing my feet off the bed slowly. Not far from the bed is a light switch, so I take a few steady steps toward it and flick it on. The the light is so bright, I'm blinded for a couple moments, but when I can actually bare the light, I notice a door a few feet away. I hurry over to it with my hand supporting the small baby bump I have and jiggle the knob desperately. Locked, of course.

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

They’ve reached the ninth floor already. They find themselves in a warm-impressed room. A light yellow wall, colorful piled floor, and big windows gone through by that blue Lune illumination, yet the room isn’t illuminated by that blue illumination. The room is like illuminated by LED ones like in a department store. The windows might have been enchanted that any light that goes through it will be converted into a white one that they illuminate the room with white light.

The Supernatural Professor - The Jungle

The Supernatural Professor - The Jungle

The jungle was a sea of darkness and in the background, a cacophony of insect sounds heralded the start of darkness. The Army had a few field lights mounted along a path that led to the Base Camp. Were it not for the illumination, I could barely see my hands. The only respite I enjoyed was the fragrance of the Pandan plant, which carried a soothing quality. It was a favorite ingredient in Chinese dessert soups. “What was that?” I asked, referring to the series of lights floating through the darkness.
