Keith took a peek from upstairs and saw Dad walking into the kitchen, busy with his phone call. Then he ran downstairs, acting as if he had been home all night. “Good morning, Fam,” he said out loud for dad to hear. He turned to me. With a smirk, he said, “Good morning, Sissy.”

I heaved a sigh of relief because he answers my call after a minute or two that I thought he's just ignoring my call. "When are you coming back? Zeke is looking for you." I said and simply looked at Zeke who was still hugging Zuck. I heard daddy sneeze on the other line. "I don't know, maybe this weekend. Tell Zeke that I'll be back soon." Daddy said and I suddenly heard a man calling him, I want to think that it was just his staff but I am not a stupid fool, I know he is with his mistress again. Until now, I still can't believe that my father, a former soldier who was muscular and gym fit, was fucking another man.

Mia replied in a syrupy tone, "You're the best, Keith, but how can you send me after that old git? What if he falls in love with me? Do you think you'll be able to handle giving me up?" Keith pinched her playfully around her waist. "It will be as good as killing me! I can't stand the idea of you having to please that old git, but I know the sacrifice is necessary for our future. Do you understand, darling? If you impress him and persuade him to partner with us, even for just a year, we'll be set for life! We won't have to work even a day anymore!" I felt physically sick. They had no idea that "the old git" they were talking about was my father.
