Dani managed not to crinkle her nose at the fact that Kent's girlfriend had tagged along. It wasn't that she minded that Kent had a girlfriend. It was just that the girl that he'd chosen was the last person that Dani would have picked for him. Or for anyone for that matter. Well maybe with the exception of Lyra. She simply didn't like Lani and hadn't since she had arrived as a pack transfer when they were in high school.
