Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

For weakness was meant to be trampled upon; to be molded into strength. The year was 101A; 101 years after the apocalypse. The apocalypse started like any other apocalypse – by human hands. And the prime culprit was the Emperor of Darkness. A man who was also known by the titles Beast Emperor and Death Killer. For he emerged from the abyss men had dug for him with an army so vast that the world above couldn’t contain it. He was a man who wasn’t a man. He was a being who wasn’t a being. He was wrath itself. He plunged the world into chaos, taking back all it had stolen from him in a vengeful pursuit that devastated over half of the world. Half of the world was desolated by his hand. The othe

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Demon King: The Werewolf And The Lily

Kimberly Anne Magnothe evil forest
On the ground are the rotting corpse of the beast folk and what seemed to be human soldiers who had their battle. The crows and the vultures circle above and gather around the corpses, singing to their feast. Seeing that there were no children and women from among the corpses, the Emperor felt that there was hope. But the reality has suddenly dawned on him: someone used the mark of the empire to do this to the beast folk. The reality of the Dark Order’s threat has just dawned on him. But the Emperor will soon leave the mortal realm and pass his empire down to his son without even finding anything about the Order.

Traveller Of Two Worlds

Traveller Of Two Worlds

Horses screamed as stables were set ablaze, and Empire officers barked orders in panic, unable to comprehend the invisible force dismantling their infrastructure before their very eyes. Inside one of the fortified garrisons, an Empire noble lord clutched his gilded breastplate, his face drenched in sweat. "We’re being destroyed from the shadows! This is not a battle, it’s slaughter! Who is responsible for this?!" A terrified messenger, barely keeping his composure, stammered, "It’s the Aeternum, my lord… they wield weapons that spit fire and strike from afar like the gods themselves! We can’t—"

Sinful Desires: Fatal bonds

Sinful Desires: Fatal bonds

Eyes pale as winter moons. He crossed territories without slowing. Forest bent under his speed. Rivers split around him. Lesser packs felt his passing like a storm wind and lowered themselves instinctively. By dawn, the mountains of Del Imperium rose on the horizon. The Del Imperium pack. Largest and oldest among the were realm. An icy snowy glacier peak. Their territory spanned jagged peaks and deep valleys carved by ancient rivers. Stone fortresses crowned ridges like thrones. War banners hung from iron stakes, each bearing the sigil of a silver wolf devouring the sun.

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

“Imagine the person you hate the most or the person you consider your opponent groveling at your feet. Imagine the world all bowing to you. Imagine everything you wished for being yours. Now, what are the steps you will take for that to happen? Who are your pawns? Who will you tear down to make it possible? Those impure thoughts fill my head every waking moment. My thoughts are noisier than a market and they urge me towards destruction, anger, sorrow, and grief. The path I walk is a thorny, flesh-rendering path. Let me walk this path on my lonesome while you focus on procreating with my brother and making your kingdom great.” “What do you mean?” “Long Live the Empire,” Natalia whispered in h

Reclaiming My Beloved Dragon Prince

Reclaiming My Beloved Dragon Prince

Now that we are disengaged from the celestial realm, our downward movement recreating a tunnel of sorts as we rebuild the pathways that tie us together, we feel none of the cold, nor the heat, our shield protecting us from the vast unending cold of eternity as the glowing marble below us grows nearer and nearer. It is well into the morning before the gatedisk enters the upper atmosphere above the northern end of the Luxandrian continent. Taking our winged forms, our group makes a swift progression toward Imperial City. The last time I came to Imperium City, I had traveled in my 4th form. As a creature made of concentrated sunlight, I didn’t have to engage with the guards or walk through a ga

BOUND BY THE RUTHLESS MAFIA BOSS. HIS SINS, HER CHAINS

BOUND BY THE RUTHLESS MAFIA BOSS. HIS SINS, HER CHAINS

The word hung between us like a blade Because that was the truth we had not wanted to face We were not just rebuilding an empire We were being measured against something that intended to become one The system pulsed again Stronger than before And then the display shifted one final time Revealing a new command layer Not ours Not external But internal And at the center of it A designation appeared One we had never created One we had never authorized One that mirrored everything we were Daniil’s voice dropped into something cold and final “It has built its own throne” I did not look away from the screen as the realization settled fully into place Because whatever we were facing now Was no longe

The Huntress & The Bonded Lowell

The Huntress & The Bonded Lowell

Dark and dangerous and lava on the hot scale. Just then a loud crash erupted nearby. Rudina looked around to try and see what was happening. As she walked forward, something hard and solid hit her on the back. Getting up from her knees, Rudina saw Hunter run at lightning pace behind her. It was a Lowell! A human turned Werewolf without permission or knowledge of The Imperials. They were unprepared for the emotional and phycological effects of being a Werewolf. Not to mention the physical pain and torment. These factors have damaged humans before. This is why The Imperials are to decide who is strong enough to even train for it. Something flew through the air and into the piller in front on R

Frequently Asked Questions

Man, this is such a classic 'Warhammer 40,000' moment where a grand reveal ends up feeling like a cosmic reset button. In 'Dark Imperium', the big twist isn't a secret identity or a traitor, but Guilliman's realization about the Emperor's true nature. After his resurrection and conversation with the God-Emperor, he understands the Imperium has been worshipping a corpse that's become a warp entity fueled by that faith, a far cry from the secular empire his father wanted. It flips the script on the Imperial Truth entirely. The twist is philosophical: the primarch comes back to save a empire that's become the very thing he fought against. It makes his crusade feel tragically hollow, like he's perpetuating the problem to survive. The book ends with him basically trapped in that paradox, which is so grimdark.

I keep thinking about that moment he reflects on the Lectitio Divinitatus, the book Lorgar wrote that started the Imperial Cult. The irony is thick enough to chew on.
